  1. Last 2 times I went to a gun show in Knoxville it was a complete waste of time...I actually thought CCA had a better selection and definitely better prices, but maybe i dont look hard enough Course it doesnt help that half the show is knives which I loathe(why carry a $300 knife when you can spend that on a gun) and fake war memorabilia sold by people that are probably not actual vets.
  2. Thanks a lot Mars....now im actually wanting to know more about a Kel-Tec ....that thing looks pretty awesome...I like the shell eject its pretty much like the FS2000
  3. I have a Stack-On and like it quite well. I believe Joe at Hero Gear carries them...also Dicks has them. They can be had in a good size for less then $850 and have fire protection along with being waterproof(depending on the model) which is nice when the fire department hoses down your house....Unless you live in the middle of nowhere 1hr of fire protection is plenty...if it take the fire department more then 30mins to get to your house you might wanna think about installing a fire suppression system first This is the one I got and I like it a LOT http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2881829
  4. Medic...just so you know...unless you plan on using night vision goggles...the 512 does all the same stuff and uses AA batteries like the 552. (I do own a 552 but only got it over a 512 because it was a demo unit on sale).
  5. Pics added as promised and on time (Verbal ;-D) I took those really late last night and didnt realize how crappy the one with it and the box turned out...just know that the manual and box were in perfect condition...too bad I cant read German.
  6. Toots does have really good wings I have ate their on my travels to Nashville a few times...worth the detour. Hooters wings are just ok...I usually get them Naked(no breading) with the Hot sauce on the side. If you have never tried them this way you should as they are a lot better. Quaker Steak and Lube has really good wings but they usually tear me up somethin fierce...I think they have an All You Can Eat on Tuesdays.
  7. Mousegunner posted up the most recent Chattanooga classifieds under Guns for Sale...there is a guy selling a 4x Acog for $500 which is a steal as thats about an $1100 scope that allows you to keep both eyes open while targeting...might want to check that out.
  8. It probably has as much plastic as a real heater P6 pics will be on the way non-believer....you keep that ban stick at home where it belongs
  9. Verbal...dont be petition'n me Nightrunner: I said Monday dangit! Mine is probably as nice if not nicer then the one he put up...Im almost contemplating buying another....dont really know what for but it just seems like one of those deals you cant pass up....maybe John Woo Dual Wielding lol Also I believe its Century thats importing these as it says C.A.I. VA on the side.
  10. Dan Wesson....not that plastic stuff your carrying
  11. Just thought I would give you guys a heads up. I finally got my Sig 225/P6 I ordered from AIM and all I can say is OH MY GOD I paid the $10 extra for the handpick and if my gun is any indication it was worth it. You can go look at their website and it shows a pretty old rough looking gun. Mine is shiny black, almost no scratches, and dated '99, and looks better then the CPO Sigs the gun stores sell. I FFL'd it through Guns and More and the guy at the counter asked me how much I paid because it was the best looking 225 he has seen yet. The mags are perfect and even the over the shoulder holster is in great shape. It also comes with the factory box and manual which look brand new. I took the barrel out and its probably in better condition then my P229 I have had since new ('05). I will have some pics up Monday (I know lame to post this with no pics). Just thought I would let you all know to get one quick...for ~$300 there is no better value
  12. Well right now I have quite a bit of .45 ammo and no .45...I sold my last one and thought for sure I would have another, but after comparing ballistics and magazine sizes (single stack) I see no reason to use a .45 over a 10mm and the DW Commander is the perfect size (4.25" as I was previously leaning on a Kimber Compact Stainless that is 4")
  13. Someone tell me why i SHOULDNT get a Dan Wesson Commander in 10mm besides the ammo cost. Im really starting to want one and probably should hold off.
  14. Well said....well said....
  15. I have heard Para's arent the smoothest running guns.
  16. Very nice....very tacti-COOL
  17. Thats why you get a 239 for daily carry and call it a day I do agree the 229 is quite hefty.
  18. Contact JWP or Hero Gear for accurate info
  19. Nsnate...im obviously no expert but legally you cant change the barrel size unless you do an ATF SBR (form#?) for it. However you could get rid of all that wood and put a fold over stock on it with no forms at all since its already considered a carbine. It would look pretty funny though until you had the barrel cut down.
  20. 5legion...I can answer the AR mag question....thats a big NO...unless you do the conversion for the G36 mag well your limited to the puny 10rd mags. But now you might want to talk to Paletiger about the conversion process which will net you a beautiful piece of machinery.
  21. Yeah I just noticed that too.
  22. Norm....for quick reflex I doubt you will find a better buy. Get a 512 or if you want to be really tacti-cool get a 552 like me so you can use it with nightvision (i got a deal on mine "open display" otherwise woulda got a 512)
  23. The Eotechs are awesome and they have the flip magnification thingy you can buy for it later if you want 3 or 4x magnification. I love mine.
  24. Well i thought it might be worth it for the license plate (garner more good will from the LEO's) but since they still dont support restaurant carry....NOPE...trash she goes.
  25. I bought the case size from AIM ~900rds so I could get the cool container lol. Havent got to shoot any yet though. Still finishing off the Lithuanian. AIMs probably one of my favorite places to purchase ammo.
