  1. Im sure this has been answered somewhere but im lazy. Whats are good items to get started with and what books/dvds do you guys recommend I watch prior to? I would rather not grenade any of my firearms. Links, prices, and info are very much appreciated.
  2. haha thats a good one.
  3. I think XD would be worth paying the extra $100 for just because if you got tired of it you would be able to resell it much easier.
  4. Thats a nice lookin smiff you got there!
  5. Is that the Minotaur Comptac? I have a comp-tac for the P229 but it doesnt have the leather backing...while it hides well I cant say its comfortable when not standing...also since the one side is pressed against my back with no material (except for the kydex covered area) I have noticed surface rust on the mag release of my sig
  6. Yeah I have a 225/P6 but its not much lighter or smaller then the 229
  7. Im a FN fan but im probably gonna go with a 556
  8. Phantom out of curiousity is your spare pistol a smaller firearm(.22,.32, .380) or the same size as your 1st carry?
  9. I will have to say after seeing the vids thats a pretty cool piece of machinery.
  10. Rocky, You got much more Sig'ery then me...very nice. So what I gathered is that if im wanting a true pocket pistol and cant afford both I need to go with the Kahr?
  11. Wanted your thought and opinions...I currently carry a 229 and like everyone says its a bit bulky. I was thinking about going to a 239 CCP but wonder if its gonna be smaller enough to make the jump...other options would be a DW commander Bobtail in 10mm (might have same problem there), Kahr PM40(heard they can be painful to shoot), or Kahr PM9...im pretty biased towards larger calibers....dont even mention a Glock as thats not an option Thanks!
  12. If I can get a long gun compatible with my 92 I will probably always keep 2 or 3 spare mags in the car + the trunk gun but the 92 is really a winter only carry its just to big to attempt to conceal without a jacket or coat.
  13. Very very nice...7.5 upper...talk about compact!
  14. Man thats truly awful. I hope justice is served.
  15. You know if I started daily carrying my brick...err Beretta 92 with the new Mec Gar 20rd Opti-mags I could theoretically have 61 rounds on tap with a 2 mag holder ;-D Zombies BEWARE
  16. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
  17. Oh those are nice...you will like that one for sure! Not a Beretta 92 but still very nice ...actually its probably nicer then my 92 lol.
  18. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10501 Scroll down past the pretty pictures....they are gonna have 10...COUNT EM 10!!!
  19. Check the vendors section. There are a few available!
  20. Probably gonna lean more towards a sub 2k compatible with Beretta 92mags just for the fold-ability and price difference....unless I can win this GB auction under $450 ;-D
  21. Yeah thats pretty sweet.....Miked I might need to shoot yours first :-D I will let you try out the Saiga 12
  22. My advice is to call the Canadian consulate before you get there and find out there policy. It wouldnt surprise me if they had metal detectors. Most likely you can check your firearm and then pick it up on your way out so the parking lot will be a non issue.
