  1. Bone stock the 9mm/.380's run from 1200-1300rpm The Lage slow fire upper brings it down to a useable 600ish rpm and you can change it out with different bolts(at add'l cost) to up it to 750 or 900rpm
  2. Thats a pretty cool idea...though I assume carrying a loaded machine gun is a no no eh?
  3. Thanks Creeky...if your ever down my way just lemme know and your more then welcome to shoot it...just remember its BYOA ;-D
  4. I ordered mine very recently and it was about 3 months for the sighted upper. The rail only upper is almost 5 months! Im number 327 for the .22 upper he is gonna produce sometime this year hopefully lol. So maybe by 2012 mine will be ready
  5. Wish I wasnt broke and hadnt just figured out how much more I have to give the gov'mt this year :-( Great deal Joe. For anyone thinking the .32cal is underpowered Buffalo Bore makes some excellent self defense ammo that will kill anything two legged short of a 300lb crack head.
  6. The reason I prefer a 1911 is because for me personally it points easier then any other gun I own. I also find the trigger the easiest to shoot rapid when combined with the "push" of the .45acp Also mine exhibits amazing reliability...I have never had a single FTF or FTE since its been my carry even when I have been quite lax on cleanings and it has turned into a lint trap in my M-Tac.
  7. Welcome to the site...I grew up in Maryville...live in Knoxville now. We need to get together for some shooting sometime at either Gunnys or Coal Creek Armory. Im sure if you PM an admin they would be happy to participate with an event that supports gun ownership.
  8. Dicks does manage to have shotties at a great price. I know Tungsten likes his 930spx if your looking for an auto I dont see how you could go wrong at that price. Pump wise I think my 870 is smoother then my 500 but my experience there is very limited.
  9. The Knoxville Wally Worlds are selling the wwb 100rd 9mm boxes for $19.97 I bought two and grimaced....but the M11/9 is hungry and has to be fed a steady diet of Brass only ammo
  10. I know its not what you wanted, but a 401k is a better option. Just go the low risk bond route if your less risk oriented. In the end the results are better for you since it cant be taken away.
  11. If you have the cash you can offer them a lower amount and 9/10 times they will take it. Like buying anything else used its typically negotiable. Last time I bought a gun at a pawn shop they were asking $450+++ and i got out the door at $450 even.
  12. I usually rock out the M-tac at 3 with my Dan Wesson Cbob. Its pretty great. I shot the 1911 again yesterday. Reminded me why I carry one of the lowest capacity firearms I own. ;-D
  13. I would love to come check out the suppressed setup. I ran mine again yesterday at CCA. Overall it did pretty good, but i have a kink somewhere cause im still getting FTF/FTE randomly. Really random when it happens and im trying to duplicate the cause(mag?, ammo?, springs?), but not havin a lot of luck sourcing it. I finally conned the girlfriend into going with...she thought it was pretty great. Now I just gotta convince her the AOW wont hit her in the face lol.
  14. Awesome man...thanks for the help! Btw I found the Pachmayer slip on grip works great! I bought it at CCA for $9.99 it takes a lil elbow grease to get on but feels good, looks good, and doesnt interfere with the mag release. Good lookin M11 btw...I like the canted grip...is the suppressor worth doin?
  15. Alright so the Lage Max-11 upper is a must.....Gun ran absolutely perfect...for about 400rds...then it started having a few hiccups but I couldnt quite figure out if it was the ammo, operator, or mag....so gives me a good excuse to give her another run this morning over at CCA. :-D While we are talking NFA stuff.....AOW's are a party favor everyone should own for the $5.00 admission.
  16. hahaha OMG...love the jumprope...errr Nunchucks lol.
  17. I got my girlfriend some spray over at Hero Gear...the Kimber Sprays are quite nice too...
  18. Lol yep....I cant believe I missed that clue...me needs to pay more attention to the signs and loosen up the tin foil.
  19. Yeah I dont know your budget but if length of pull is a concern a semi-auto would probably suit you better.
  20. Me thinks one day Alaska will be fought over, but whether it be Russia, China, or someone else is yet to be determined. The Arctic might provide a good battleground too if oil goes crazy again since no country lays claim to it.
  21. Lol one of my friends told some of his friends I have a machine gun and they said "isnt he worried about getting caught and going to jail" lol.
  22. LOL yeah I busted up laughing when I read that Texas would be assimilated into Mexico...hahaha and the part about TN joining the northeastern states....HAHAHAHA Maybe just Naifeh.
  23. Yeah JWP...whats the price?
  24. Year or so back my friend was the manager at the Knoxville Hooters when some guy off his meds decided to use it as a shooting gallery. My friend took a .40 to the shoulder and a bar patron took one in the head (died instantly). They later found the shooter and he pulled a gun on the police and was killed.
  25. I would say in that situation they would turn the other cheek but if things happened like they did for my friend at Hooters the guy sitting on the stool would take a fast one to the head and everyone else would get wounded and then there you would be laying in a pool of your own blood with a holstered gun at your side.
