  1. Got tired of staring at the thing...they are surprisingly easy to shoot without a brace and woo-wee what a fireball...but the triggers suck...tons of phillips screws look dumb, and lets just face it having a brace makes aiming easier...however one huge advantage to these is weight...3.4lbs stock....I still need to weigh it but even with the added kit I think im still at 5lbs or less....I got some other plans for later but im happy with its direction.
  2. That goober resurrecting that for sale ad from 4 years ago piqued my curiousity….I see why he was wanting to jump on one of these ol turds (yes yes they aren't junk but theres a reason nobody bought them)...discontinuation makes the heart grow fonder lol. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/857075869 for those that don't click $3300 rang the bell for this used model with no description.
  3. I'd say it probably does I could be completely wrong but I believe the cost of a base m4 to the military is under $600...maybe less....that gun is pretty bare bones basic except for that part and the shorter barrel...but its a SHTF gun that will probably sit in that chair for the next 10-15 years.
  4. That CryHavoc kit is pretty cool actually...$350 feels steep but they are a smallish company so bills are bills. I too am impressed the Air Force built these at such a reasonable cost to the taxpayer.
  5. That's awesome man congratulations!! Words to live by too!!
  6. Haha I love that lower! I don't know if you should put your name on it though some stranger might come up and act like they know you at the gun range
  7. I'd go with PSA if the difference in price is minor...they have a good return policy/"Lifetime Warranty" and they are known quantity you can sell if you ever change your mind about it later.
  8. Im fired up about that PSA5...mainly for the simple fact it uses the delayed roller blowback like a normal MP5...my AR9 kicks harder than my 5.56 cause its standard blowback instead of DI...my PSA KS47 with a 7.5" barrel (and DI) shoots softer than my AR9 or my AK's, most of these 9mm sub guns are running direct blowback...except the MPX and the HK's causing them to kick harder than one would expect for such a "small caliber"....this PSA5 is gonna sell like hotcakes if its reliable...and if its not PSA will at least stand by it with their lifetime warranty. That JAKL....oh my....
  9. I forgot that place even existed!!! Thanks for the heads up!!
  10. I once had a Kahr k45....never again....
  11. Thanks for the review surprised to hear it has so much muzzle flip being a pretty large gun firing 9mm...do you think part of that has to do with the imbalance of the dot sight on the back end or? Cool looking cannon!
  12. DaveTN your doing it wrong...and Keltec actually was ahead of the curve with the AR pistol the ol PLR16 is quite manageable even if the fireball is a bit overwhelming....I wouldn't usually reprimand you but I think you need to make a little more effort....
  13. I used to think the same thing but then one of them was on CNBC (or was it cbs) and after hearing him talk and his well thought out points and counterpoints to whoever the interviewer was...I no longer thought his face looked so punchable.
  14. That thing would weigh 3lbs
  15. Hey I've smoked many a Hookah and not got shot...course I was smoking actual tobacco or whatever that stuff is lol...and it sure as heck wasn't 3:30am
  16. Interesting both parties were armed with an NAA 22 derringer(one was killed by police)...also like your parents always told ya...nothing good happens after midnight. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/nypd-2-dead-after-police-open-fire-on-shooter-in-east-village/ar-BBYM95H?ocid=spartandhp
  17. I think any browning or FN hipower is a solid investment that's shootable so I think you did quite well! Almost as weird as my SFS hipower!
  18. Im starting to think gun collectors "investors" are almost as dumb as car collectors.
  19. well unfortunately I can no longer verify what I claim but I will say that for whatever reason it wasn't choppy at all...I still owned my lage m11/9 at the time and its actually what made me ok with selling it..i was like damn this is 90% of the fun for a fraction of the cost. Now im sure it wouldn't compare on a centerfire vs centerfire caliber but on the pistol caliber specifically 9mm...I was sold. Again all a moot point since MG's and echo triggers are the only game remaining...Thanks Trump! lol
  20. Ive not kept up with them but echo what the other guys here said...I had the original Lage on my M11/9...made that gun go from turd to amazing....Richard is a great guy and makes an amazing product.
  21. Depends on the setup and the bump stock....or the skill of the user as the reason they were banned showed....my AR9 setup was rock solid controllable I had one of the aluminum ones not that flimsy plastic crap...I could drop 3 and 5rd bursts like it was nothing...ahhh the good ol days. Thanks Trump.
  22. I whole heartedly agree...nothing has consistently appreciated better that was readily attainable then them dang Mosins...I got one and everytime im like you im like...why in the world would you pay $300 for this when there are so many better guns available.
  23. Oh theres so many other things you could have invested in that would have gave you a much larger return between the 80's and now.....investing in guns is well....there are much better options...plus lets face it...when they went up to $10,000 you probably would have said woah $2000 profit (remember we are talking late 80's money) and sold them then ;-D
  24. Until they banned bump stocks I can say you weren't really missing out on anything...I had a Lage upper'ed M11/9....yes it was a lot of fun but having that money back in my account when I sold it was better....and when bump stocks were legal the 9mm upper'd AR I had did the same thing at 1/10th the price.....course im sure those echo triggers will get you a similar experience.
