BAHAHAHA this is amazingly funny. Now here's the thing I also think Cheaper than Dirt are a$$holes...BUT...when they were selling 9mm for 7.99 a box and making sh*t (along with lots of other vendors)...were we lining up to take advantage and support these stores suffering from oversupply and low margins? NO...its obvious to me that even some people on this very site learned nothing from any of the other "scares"...so I can't blame any business for making profit and margin while they can. They aren't selling toilet paper, food, or medicine so if the sheep are stupid enough to let their wallets get slaughtered let them.

I think this market has made it abundantly clear there are NO safe havens in a panic. Cash is the best safe haven and if you don't believe in cash then just stock up on dried food and canned goods if that's your actual belief. Course if you think that way you probably don't invest.

A lot of smaller businesses are going to be on life support or bankrupted by this. If I wasn't already tied up in the market I would definitely be buying (and probably be kicking myself daily for not waiting cause I will be the first to admit my timing is never right) but eventually like we saw in 08...all these low low prices are gonna look like steals and we will regret not using this opportunity for long term investment. So i'll keep making my monthly contributions and probably picking up the larger companies that powered through the last crash such as amazon, Walmart, Microsoft, etc... Im seriously glad our car lot isn't on a line of credit anymore....we learned our lesson from 08 when the bank told us we had 60 days to pay off $600,000.

Its not price gouging if people are willing to pay it. If they waited til now to buy they deserve it anyways. Same as every other panic that affects the completely unprepared. I don't blame these websites for making money while they can most of last year and this year they have had very little if any margins so they have to make money too.

Anyone who has passed on all this cheap ammo and gun parts and waited til now is an idiot. Yes I said it if you waited for the storm to come to "get prepared" you are an idiot and when it passes you will be an idiot saddled with ammo and supplies you overpaid for.

Me personally would choose as light as reliably possible 223/556 rifle...preferably of the AR variant. I wouldn't choose a 308 unless I was "bunkering". They are just too heavy...even my Adams Arms small frame 308 is heavier than I would want to carry over any long distance. Most engagements are typically over in seconds if not precious few minutes so I believe a rifle caliber would still be of great benefit over a pistol caliber and the versatility it offers in regards to hunting would also be a huge benefit. 223/556 is the obvious choice because ammo, mags, and parts are everywhere....at least in this country...and mexico lol. If I had knowledge of where the fight would be I would just avoid it if at all possible lol.

I voted for Trump and I think that more then gives me the right to gripe about his stupidity and bull-headedness. That doesn't mean I would vote for Biden or Bernie. Just saying he could quit being such a monumental ass and maybe listen to some people that actually know wtf they are doing. A good example is when he ran Jim Mattis out. Pure ignorance and stupidity on Trump's part. You think our military is better off without him? Or how about when he ran out Kelly or Kohn....the man could have really improved this country instead he only chooses to keep "yes men and women". How about his fight with Jeff Bezos and his underhanded way of screwing them out of that defense contract just because he got his feelings hurt. The smartest thing Trump could do now is to shut up and actually listen to the people that know about epidemics, health, and medicine. Let the people with actual knowledge of how to handle this crisis do their job. I am hoping this stock market crash has taught him that maybe his way isn't always the only or best way. Time will tell.

I wish he would shutup...I have not been more disappointed in him since the time he said "grab her by the p&ssy"....he really has no handle on the situation and hes too bull headed to listen to actual experts. Also as far as the TN constitution I am a follower of the United States Constitution....the Tennessee constitution holds as much weight as declaring Knoxville a sanctuary city or what have you...makes people all warm and fuzzy...doesn't mean sh*t.

What rights exactly are we born with? Running around naked? Taking anything we please? Assaulting anyone we choose? Wearing Clothes? Carrying a gun? Wielding a sword? We all have absolute freedom but seeing as how none of us own our own private island the government (local/state/national) tells us what we can do without penalty and what we can't. I never said you have to pass a class to own the gun...just to carry one outside of your home, work, car. You know opposing viewpoints and what not...and owning a gun is not a God given right lol (some people don't even believe in a higher power)...its a United States given right.

Just like I think a driving test is also very practical, a marriage class is a good idea, a license to do nails, run a business, and lots of other things but ya know im sure im in the minority...but I digress...

Dave a lot of adults don't realize you can't brandish a firearm...not to mention there are still some people that can't pass the 7yd shooting test (?!??!?) so for that reason yes I think a class is reasonable if you desire to carry in places not already legally allowed by the Castle Law(doctrine?).

they can keep stupid people from carrying a gun in public areas that they were too cheap, too dumb, or too inaccurate to legally do when a carry permit was required....im for the enhanced penalties on theft I am not at all for permitless carry. I mean if you can't hit a 7yd target and pass a test where they pretty much give you the answers....do you really need to be hip holstering it at wally world?
