  1. Pretty cool! I had a 9mm revolver but the recoil was more than I anticipated so up for sale it went always thought it was fun though.
  2. The only experience I have with Tullamore Dew is the limited finished in rum cask version which is interesting and not so bad...I have more experience with Jameson which I appreciate but at the end of the day Bourbon is still king at my house.
  3. I had a guy walk up on me with a skateboard raised up in both hands when I was at an atm in Knoxville near campus. I just happened to hear him in time to turn around and put my hand on my LCR I was carrying...he jumped back and said “oh is the bank closed” (at 9pm no less)...I said “yeah it’s f&cking closed and you better get the hell outta here!” I never had to draw my gun just had it in a IWB holster but he could tell I had my hand on the butt of a gun and that was enough for me and him to make it home unscathed. I hope that kid (some skinny guy probably not more than 20) found other ways to make money.
  4. Haha ya know it might technically be a turd but it has that old school cool factor to it...guess I’m getting older lol....crazy to think all those colt sports are worth $$ now.
  5. At one time almost all of us were tacticool!!! As y’all know I couldn’t even tell you what my first AR was or what it looked like (I did have a spiked zombie lower with spikes 37mm launcher at one time though lol)...here is my current non Frankenstein’d AR. its a Troy Limited Run called the Palamino
  6. You ain’t wrong... I hate Hillary but....in this instance she would have done a much better job. I’m a trump voter but anyone who thinks he didn’t F this all up has their head in the sand.
  7. I agree and have been in agreement! We don't have to like it but again Capitalism is one of the pillar's of this fine country so to say it shouldn't be allowed or whatever is kinda like smacking Lady Liberty in the face. Like most things people like to conveniently forget you gotta take the good and the bad even if it does apply to guns and ammo.
  8. Hahaha aww come on now you know me always glass half full in East TN...usually half full of bourbon...
  9. Theres not just silly peoples irrational FOMO. Just like TP there would be plenty for everyone if a bunch of jacka$$es that never buy during normal times didn't rush to buy way more then they will use or shoot in a year or more. However...maybe just maybe (but probably not likely) some people will finally learn their lesson and keep better personal inventory when it comes to guns, ammo, and TP (I always have 2 SAM's mega packs in the garage cause why not?).
  10. If you do read that one to it’s conclusion he still stands by his possible deaths ...so now I’m even more confused lol.
  11. Spain's death rate is soaring however....it would be prudent for all of us if funds and supplies allow, to heed the CDC recommendations and just stay away from anyone that's not immediate family.
  12. One of my friends whose in the military posted this lol...
  13. me either...but we have seen plenty of other members tout the great deals they received from them. It is what it is. Everyone has a choice whether to pay exorbitant pricing or wait for better days. I mean really does anyone here actually think they are gonna need another 500 rounds of ammo to fight off what? TP Looters, Sick Coronavirus patients that can't even breathe, I mean whats the impetus for hoarding ammo of all a sudden? During Sandy Hook it was the possibility of losing the ability to purchase an AR...I mean there was a little bit of reason to that argument...but now? I mean really...ask yourself why the hell you need more ammo then you had 3 weeks ago? I guarantee most can't come up with any logical explanation or reason.
  14. It depends I guess...lots of people on this board have said that about CTD after every price gouge yet tons of members on here still buy from those a$$holes.
  15. Honestly this will last til whenever the Coronavirus burns itself out...then a couple months later all these vendors will get delivered their backordered pallets of ammo and be dumping them at wholesale pricing...same as always. This rush is no different than any other mass shooting or election. People get a bad case of FOMO and waste their money. I think after Sandy Hook I was selling AR's for like $2,000 that were going for like $700 prior to on GB...my only regret was not selling every gun I had at that time. Gun owners can either take lessons from the past or just keep wasting money...most seem content to waste money.
  16. Heres the thing...people on gunbroker are paying $250 plus shipping for 500rds of brown bear 223....no one is forcing them to pay that...they are bidding it to that. If they want to pay it and I could use the money more then the ammo...who gets hurt? Its not like anyone actually needs that much ammo...they aren't using it to hunt for food for their family. They are buying it out of a lack of preparation and fear. If they need the money in their wallet less than they need the ammo (at least in their minds) then why let CTD and companies like that make all the profit. I can pay more principle on my mortgage and they get piece of mind at whatever they think the market value is. To me that's a win/win.
  17. if your idea of a deal is anything less than CTD than im dealing in both!!!
  18. I do lol....Its a by product of having to drive 45 mins to shoot....but having a gun obsession.
  19. Everytime this crap happens its the same cycle...I've never ran low and I've only regretted when I didn't sell. I'll keep enough back to fend off the horde but i'll just replace whats sold once everyone has a glut and cheap prices again as has happened in every rush this past decade.
  20. This is honestly the most ridiculous sh*t I have seen in awhile. I'm about to list a ton of ammo on gunbroker...just like after Sandy Hook...people willing to pay stupid prices I might as well cash in.
  21. I still can't wrap my head around the people carrying out cases and cases of bottled water...I mean if the commies were invading or aliens had come down...or the Russians/China EMP'd our powergrid ….we really are our own worst enemy.
  22. I especially don't feel bad for those people...ignorance is a personal failure.
  23. bahaha really the new shooters....you mean all those millennials glued to their smartphones aren't capable of googling ammo sites, prices, or finding out Palmetto exists...give me a break...if your buying at CTD your lazy and ill prepared at best. And TGO David I know good and well that you are stockpiled like me so I wasn't referencing you. I just get really irritated that we all love capitalism and free markets but then gripe when they do what they do...I mean you gotta take the good with the bad. 1000rds of ammo isn't the same as bread, milk, water, medicine..its a luxury honestly....ive got more then I will ever need to defend the ol house but im one of those people that can't pass up a deal.
  24. Glad your doing well! Make hay while the sun shines!
  25. BTW...if you were truly short-sighted enough to wait til now...hop on PSA they are still dealing out the deals as they are probably my favorite company to buy from....your welcome you ill-prepared masses.. https://palmettostatearmory.com/ammunition/handgun-ammunition.html
