  1. My personal choices would be a SW99 compact P99compact(same thing) or a M&P9c based on my own personal experience. For one reason or another it seems like a lot of PPS owners end up selling/trading their guns after just a little while.
  2. Dont get excited just yet, but this one is looking to be close :-D (4:41pm)
  3. Yeah its just a penny to ship it....would look pretty tough hitched up behind a jeep. Probably would be a lot of fun. Wiki has some history on that gun.
  4. I dont on cars cause I know better...but when it comes to guns I dont have that Hero Gear and Pinmaster money Only hobby I have got into and not lost my A$$...I like to keep it that way.
  5. Unless I was shooting competition I would never drop that much money on a rifle stock...I think you would get more bang for the buck putting that in optics or better yet buying another firearm. Kind of like putting nitrous on a car...yeah it makes it faster, but your never gonna see any return on your money.
  6. heck yeah, they also have some 158gr sub sonic...just what the m11/9 called for :-D
  7. Thanks for the heads up on the price...im gonna pick me up some...I like the critical defense but the gold dot is "good enough" for most social situations imho.
  8. Yeah the .410 is a really cool concept, but I really think its more of a toy then the defense pistol they make it out to be.
  9. Im thinkin less the 40 points...I dont think we will get beat by more then that...which would still suck, but oh well. I want the Vols to win, but im under no illusions.
  10. CAS....whats that have to do with the 11th? 11th on a Sunday...at Norris...heck yeah I will be there...too bad they dont allow Full Auto's or I would bring the M11/9....guess I will have to settle for the Saiga 12 and 20rd drums...start saving up random boxes and cartons to blow up people(Norris doesnt like you to use shotguns with bird/buck on their backstops).
  11. Hey titan im gonna be down there on the 24th and 25th for the Petite Le Mans at Road Atlanta...you still gonna be down there then?
  12. I like the RZ-10 but I like having the ability to carry it even if I never do and a full size 1911 is just a bit too big for me to carry comfortably. If I get a 610 its going to be the 3 7/8-4" version for that same reason and also on revolvers 4" models seem to resell better in case I decide its not for me.
  13. So I have the urge for a 10mm and im in between a 610 or a Dan Wesson Cbob in 10mm(already have the .45 version)...i think no more then I would shoot a 10mm the 610 would fit the bill plus I can still "plink" with .40 when I want to....anyone ever had one got any thoughts or opinions. thanks
  14. Dan Wesson Cbob .45 with only 1 mag :-(
  15. I dont know much about Kahrs, but I dont think I would be shooting any non-brass through it.
  16. thats pretty awesome
  17. Definitely glad I didnt make it to Marks for the april shoot lol.
  18. so what your saying is your wife will not allow you to buy a $79-$89 Mosin...but you can buy a totally useless tattoo? Anyone else not seein the logic here....oh and just so you dont think im a total dick I got a cartridge you can have.
  19. My Reverse two tone 229 doesnt but maybe thats because its always in the safe....this guns probably been sitting for a month or two. Any advice on how to take off the rest of the rust without getting drastic?
  20. Make sure you get a good brand...my friend bought one of those NCstar/famous makers and the damn thing fell 2 feet to the ground and quit working completely. You can borrow my ACOG if you want to see how you like it. just gimme a call mike.
  21. So last night me and my buddy are talking about how he needs to get some ammo for his P245 so I said well go get it and I will give you the rounds out of my 3rd 1911 mag...well he gets it out of a box it was in sitting with his CZ52 and the whole slide is covered in surface rust! Also the exposed part of the barrel has surface rust too! I took it home, took it apart and surprisingly not any other part of the gun had rust. I cleaned the slide up with multiple oils and patches as best I could and took a brush to the square part of the barrel(topside)...its gonna have perma-pits but at least its not the bore. Any tips on cleaning the remaining surface rust off the slide? Btw it is the standard black sig finish and it does appear to be the original finish. This is a German built sig if that matters. Any help is appreciated. On a sidenote...the CZ52 had no rust on it
  22. damn thats a nice SKS and to the OP your buddy definitely got a deal since he has a friend like you to help him out.
  23. Sounds pretty cool....as of right now the bar is set pretty low as most gun shows just blow big ol....well you get the idea. If you can turn this into SEMA for guns im all for it :-D

    1911 .45

2nd that....if you plan on carrying it as I did/and do get a used one that way you can save a little money and not worry about "marring the finish".
