It's making it somewhat back into the chamber. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll check the extractor.

I am having a problem with my 870 when using 3.5 shells. More times than not, it won't eject the empty. Any suggestions on what to check? Thanks!

Most of the performance issues can be fixed with gearing... The 3.21 gears that I had in mine brought the suck! I am now running 4.88's (6 speed) and 35's. It is perfect!

Nothing too strange in my class... But there was SUPER hawt college chick that was probably around 110lbs. She came out on the range with a .44mag with a long barrel. After about 3 shots, she put the gun down and said that she couldn't shoot it anymore then started crying. Of course, there was no shortage of guys jumping up to be the hero and offer her another gun. :-) She ended up doing pretty well with a .22.

Welcome to TN! Might as well get creative with your bumper and fit in! -
Crockett is nice and there is a pretty nice swimming hole with a little waterfall.

Most JK's come with 29" tires. Rubicons and some Saraha models are all that come with 32's. The thinking behind larger tires is additional clearance AND when you you are playing offroad, you can air down your tires and get a bigger foot print for traction. Typically, the taller the tire, the wider it will get with lower air.

Here is a chart that will help give you an idea of what gear is in it based upon the RPMs. JkOwners.com - The Community for Jeep JK 4x4 Owners - View Single Post - 4.88 vs. 5.13 gears

I love mine, but be prepared to keep dumping money in it. I can't seem to stop upgrading. If they haven't changed the gears, it is probably running 3.21's or 3.73's. There was an option in 2007 for 'X's to have 4.10's but that was pretty uncommon. Anything less than 4.10 and you probably won't be happy running 33's. Your auto will constantly be in and out of OD. I am running 35's with 4.88 gears and it is perfect. Of course, my mileage really dropped when I went to 35's, but I gained most of it back when I changed the gears. I average around 17 now. With a 4 door if alot of off-roading will be or has been involved, an upgraded front drive shaft will probably be needed with the 3 inch lift. Anything over 2.5 will cause the DS boot to contact the transmission skid when flexed. Not trying to scare you away, just a couple of things to be aware of... As I said before, I LOVE mine and there are a ton of mods that you can do with them!

I usually follow the "norm" and tip 15-20% based on service, but I am a cheap ass and don't like it! I am not really sure why it should be based on the cost of the meal. I would expect the same service if I was ordering a $5 burger or a $30 steak. Why would the server be deserving of more of a tip because I ordered a more expensive plate??

Guys, I know that most everyone is tapped out for cash now with the bad economy, but fundraiser season has started! I would greatly appreciate any help that you could provide in supporting my son's scout pack. The prices seem a little high, but 70% of the money raised goes back to the pack. As you all probably know, BSA is a great organization and is truely geared to guide these boys to be great men. Thanks! Home Page :: Trail's End

Does anyone have a recommendation on pole barn builders in middle TN? I am planning to have one built soon and the quotes that I have gotten have been all over the place. I am looking for a 30x50x10 with no windows, floor, insullation, power, etc. Just a basic enclosed pole barn with a big sliding door on one end. Quotes have ranged from $7900 to $26,000! Any ideas? I know that the metal and wood packages in my area are around $5500, but I don't have the time to build it. Thanks!
