  1. I spotted that too during the all-day update on Sunday. There are also times when you see them work the safeties on the sides of their Glocks. That's too funny.
  2. Only problem is... who is worse? Obama or Biden?
  3. It would be worth it. So, how about Obama going down to Alabama and telling that man if he releases that poor little boy, he'll step down as President? Afterall, wouldn't it be worth it?
  4. Some low flying skeet... but Ok. It's from the White House.. so naturally I'll believe it.
  5. No one mentions a .22 cal? The Ruger SP22 is a pretty awesome handgun and everyone in my house can use it with ease. I know most people don't like to rely on a .22 cal, but it's still a vicious little weapon. Plus, most of them hold 10 or more rounds and the recoil is almost non-existant, and the noise inside of a closed house is a lot less. Unless you have a crackhead breaking in your house... it's not going to take too many shots for someone to change their mind about entering. :2cents:
  6.   Yup... lol. Been there, done that.
  7. Anyone here shoot there anymore? It's been years since I've been there... but I called them then the other day to see if their range was still open. (Yes, it is)   I know it's a short range, but it's close to the house and I want to try out some of my reloads.
  8. So what's the verdict? Can you barter with reloads?
  9. I quit reading when I got to the part about the "fine up to $100.00".
  10. As of 10:30 - 1/24/2013 there are 59 boxes in stock. Not target rounds... but if anyone needs any hollow points.   http://www.luckygunner.com/9mm-117-gr-jhp-aguila-50-rounds
  11. It's a Mossberg 500  ... what else is there to say? It's a great shotgun and you will like it. Glad you didn't get the pistol grip or the "chainsaw" one... those are brutal to the shooter.
  12. Zombie Max for the shotgun??? Dang... didn't know they had that! Why don't I have any???
  13. Ok now... let's not overwhelm the n00b.
  14. I'm planning on loading 9mm, 115g FMJ. Here's what I've got...   Unique Powder, primers, cases, and 115g FMJ bullets that I bought at the Hendersonville show. I've read that it needs anywhere from 4.7grains of powder to 6.3 grains. How do I know what's the correct numbers? Of course this is all target rounds, and I do not want to blow up anything.   Alliant Powder website says 6.3 grains, based on Speer GDHP, but like I said... I'm using a FMJ. How does one go about figuring this out?   http://www.alliantpowder.com/reloaders/powderlist.aspx?page=/reloaders/powderlist.aspx&type=1&powderid=3&cartridge=23
  15. 2.000hhh came through with his offer to sell me his extra set. Thank You very much!!   He sold them to me for they would normally cost without all of these inflated prices that we're seeing now. Even offered help if I needed any. TGO, and everyone that I've personally met through here has been fantasic.   Thanks again!
  16. I liked this video.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jU--kK7cTEM   There are four total and very basic.
  17. It will deprime with the right dies.
  18. Found two boxes of WWB 9mm FMJ at Wal Mart the other night in Hermitage. They're no longer there.
  19. Both of my children (Boy-14 & Girl-17) know how to load, shoot, and clean every gun that I have. Having said that, I kept my guns in a gun cabinet up until the Connecticut shooting. I trust my kids around the firearms. I do not trust their friends to know the dangers or the responsibilities of handling a firearm safely, but still felt reasonably safe with them in a cabinet, secured only with a little lock. After the shootings in Connecticut, I bought a gun safe and stored them all inside of there, leaving only the pellet rifles in the cabinet. Neither of the kids know the combination to the new gun safe. LIke I said... I trust them fully, and thankfully they do not have any emotional issues that would lead me to not trust them. However, I would feel terrible if something happened with any of my firearms that lead to the harm of another person or child, so I felt it in my best interest to do what I could to prevent that. I think all firearm owners should do the same, and I'm sure a vast majority do. I wish Adam Lanza's mother would have done the same.   I only keep two firearms at a time outside of the safe. One is usually either strapped to my side, or within easy reach... the other is usually with my wife.
  20. I can't find any... I understand the mad rush to buy all the ammo, but dies too? Surely everyone hasn't decided to start reloading too.   Guess I started this hobby at the wrong time! :ugh:
  21. At the Hendersonvill show yesterday, there was a guy with 3- 555rd boxes of Federal .22 cal. He wanted $60.00 per box! I spend absolutely no time at any of the tables that were over-charging for anything, even if they did have a couple of regular priced items.
  22. WTG!... I'm still pondering if I want to go there tomorrow or not. I aint looking for ammo.
  23. Man... what happened to my font? ^   LInk: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Ammunition/Handgun-Ammunition%7C/pc/104792580/c/104691780/sc/104372280/Herters-Select-Grade-Handgun-Ammunition/1305056.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fshooting-ammunition-handgun-ammunition%2F_%2FN-1100189%2B4294756016%2FNe-4294756016%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104372280%3FWTz_l%3DSBC%253BMMcat104792580%253Bcat104691780%26WTz_st%3DGuidedNav%26WTz_stype%3DGNU&WTz_l=SBC%3BMMcat104792580%3Bcat104691780%3Bcat104372280
  24. 9mm $14.29 for a box of 50. I ordered 10 boxes the other night and they're suppose to be here on the 25th   http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Ammunition/Handgun-Ammunition%7C/pc/104792580/c/104691780/sc/104372280/Herters-Select-Grade-Handgun-Ammunition/1305056.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fshooting-ammunition-handgun-ammunition%2F_%2FN-1100189%2B4294756016%2FNe-4294756016%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104372280%3FWTz_l%3DSBC%253BMMcat104792580%253Bcat104691780%26WTz_st%3DGuidedNav%26WTz_stype%3DGNU&WTz_l=SBC%3BMMcat104792580%3Bcat104691780%3Bcat104372280
