  1. What do we think of H&R Pardners??
  2. THat might be the way to go. The adjustable stock that is.
  3. Yeah that's what I'm thinking for my first, I'll work up to the pricey guns later... My budget is keeping me away from AR's, Kimbers, and apparently, Benelli's.... alas the life of a freelancer.
  4. I'd LOVE a Saiga, but in 7.62. SKS is also on my radar.
  5. Right now none, not till the wife says I do. But I could probably finagle ≥ 300
  6. All good feedback, any other brands or models I should look at other than the Mossy 500 and Remmy 870?
  7. Yeah, that's kinda what I'm looking for. I don't wanna go overboard with it, but I just want something loud, and fun. No ghost rings, or side saddles...well okay maybe a side saddle, but no weed whacker handles.
  8. Ooo good tip.
  9. Fun at the range, SHTF home defense. Zombies. I have a .357 that I use for serious home defense, may keep the shotgun in the closet, may not... I really just want a long gun, and the shotty will probably be the easiest for me to pickup, first.
  10. On bud's right now they have a Mossberg 500 Special Purpose for under 300 shipped. Pro's Cons? I don't know a lot about shotguns, but I think that's the next thing I need to add to my collection. -a
  11. Man, I'd totally go but it's looking like I'm getting booked for a job tuesday morning. Bummer.
  12. Aw bummer. I guess I'll swing by, looking for some holsters.
  13. Is there a gun show at the fairgrounds this weekend? Anyone going??
  14. Agreed!
  15. Just got back from seeing the Avenger's movie with my wife and I noticed that Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson's character) is packing a Smith and Wesson M&P everyone else is of course carrying Glawks... but it's nice to see some other guns getting some serious screen time. Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) is also packing a pair of G26's.... Just thought it was cool.

    How many magazines?

PPQ, not S mags... and after a little research apparently I can use MecGar Baby Eagle mags of a certain variety, looks like they're 27$+shipping right now. Have to nab a couple after this next paycheck. -a

    How many magazines?

Agreed, it's a fantastic firearm though. Oh well....

    How many magazines?

This is great guys, lots of info. I think that I want to add one more to my "glock-based" system probably a 19 at some point so that I can double up on magazines between that and my 26. I'll need to get a few extras for the rest, but maybe once they come down in price some. Three walther mags would be half as much as the gun was.

    How many magazines?

Yeah I can see that. I just wish the PPQ mags were less expensive. They're like 50-60$ a pop.
  20. I was wondering how many magazines you guys try to keep on hand for your individual handguns... I have a PPQ, CM9, G26... I've got 2, 1, and 3 magazines for those respectively. I was wondering your reasonings for having more than 2 or 3... The PPQ factory mags are both hard to find and ungodly expensive... But the rest are getable. Thoughts?? -a

  25. I'm a huge fan of my Glock 26, however I fear Walther might steal my heart once I get my mits on the PPQ that's "out for delivery" today....
