Well guys, I appreciate all the advice. Today I parted ways with a beloved Terzuola (don't worry I have another coming in a couple weeks) and purchased this:

Cool guys. I think I have some food for thought. Gotta decide if selling off my beloved mini apex is worth it.

Cool, thanks for the feedback guys.

So... In a fit of impulsiveness I sold my only CCW weapon to fund a present for the wife... Now I'm just down to plinkers... I am VERY tentatively debating selling a knife (I primarily collect custom, high end, folding knives) or two to fund a nice 1911... Maybe a Kimber? Any recommendations? Something equally fun to shoot at the range, and easily carried? And also something that the wife wouldn't be too intimidated to shoot from time to time... Budget maybe $1k - $1500? Ambi safety would be big due to my leftyness. Thanks guys!!

Nice. I just got my ZT0561 in the mail today. Quality blade

I'd be willing to shoot what you have, doesn't need to be tens of tens. I think a collector can have a collection even if it's only 3 or so. (I'd say I'm a gun collector and I only have 4). Wanna PM me your email and we can work out some details?

Perfect, I'll direct him to this post so he can see for himself. He refuses to post despite having an account on here....

Hey guys, For those of you that don't know me yet I am a professional photographer based out of Nashville working primarily on editorial and lifestyle shoots as they present themselves. I am just starting a new series of photographs for my portfolio centering on the idea of "the collector" and what drives us (I'm a collector as well) to gather items to ourselves in a greater quantity than we can use. For example, I currently own 10+ folding pocket knives, relatively nice ones too, why do I have this drives to pickup the next one (which will be a Spyderco Manix 2 XL) or why does that Magic the Gathering Collector buy booster pack after booster pack to find that next rare card? Why do we as gun collectors get weak at the knees of the thought of being one of the few owners of a Kel Tec KSG in Tennessee? Or why do we yearn to add an Ed Brown to our safe? Why do people collect comic books, and what drives that feeling of accomplishment when they complete a certain storyline of a particular character they are following? I am looking for a gun collector, that has a relatively substantial collection that wouldn't mind being photographed with his/her collection. I do understand the sensitive nature of being photographed with one's guns or having one's guns photographed and am willing to honor whatever privacy requirements are requested by the subject. If you're interested let me know and we can set something up. I'll provide a high quality print of the image to the subject that they can have for their person use. Posting this for my father, He needs to return his PF9 to Kel Tec, Kel Tec is telling him that he needs to ship it via a FFL. When I returned my M&P9 to S&W, they told me just to package it up and ship it via fedex, which I did, and it came back to me the same way. Does his PF9 need to go via an FFL or can he just package it up and send it off??

Hey guys, I have a Fallkniven NL5 Idun that I received in a trade. Very beautiful fixed blade knife. But I'm finding myself wanting a high end folder a Strider perhaps so that I can carry it. I'm debating about trading or selling the Fallkniven and picking up a Strider or a ZT Hinderer. Any thoughts?

Does anyone have any experience using these two sharpeners?? I am debating on getting one, I like the price point on the Edgepro but the wicked edge seems to be a faster system...

Do you clean your rifles (specifically AR's and 10/22's) after you shoot them? Do you always clean them each time after you shoot? Do you wait a couple range trips before you break it down and scrub it out? Just curious.... -a

Yeah, not really thinking about self defense here either. Mostly slaying boxes and vivisecting apples. I recognize that knives can be used in a last ditch, everyone's getting cut, self defense situation... but I don't foresee, or train to that. I think at this point were I to skin a knife in a fight I'd probably instantly be in over my head. I just wanna be like Daniel Boone, and have a cool knife on my belt.

Crazy, super bummed that I couldn't make it. Any chance of a repeat?

Welcome man, great community of dudes (and some dudets) here.

Looking at one online, probably what I'll end up getting. Wish I had the scratch for the UBR.

I don't have a ton of .22LR experience but I did tack on a 10/22 to my recent AR order...taken it to the range a couple times and have been VERY happy with it. There's few things more classic than a blued 10/22 with a Walnut stock. Great shooter too, only had one FTF that was ironically the first round I ever put through it. Primer dimple and everything, just no boom. Ammo's fault. Nice little gun and pretty ingenious when you get it apart.

Man, that is a crazy good idea. What flavor spare bolt do you keep??

I've been looking at one. Waiting for some paypal funds to become available...

Sure thing man! Lotsa fun at Charlie's.

Yeah, I guess I should give you guys a little background. I run a Youtube Channel that is averaging 275-300 views daily, and I'm starting to earn about $40 a month in ad revenue. Youtube pays out in lumps of 100$+ so I'm about to get my first dump at the end of July. I've been asking my views that they wanted to see reviewed/used so they can get a data point on it, and an EDC fixed blade is close to the top of the choices. So my budget is around $100 for a quality blade... thus looking at the ESEE 3's.... preferably in tan to match my FDE AR.
