  1. This is sold pending a meetup on Saturday.
  2. Hello all, Looking to sell my lightly used Glock 19. I've taken this to the range maybe 2x in the handful of years that I have owned it. It has mostly been a nightstand home defense gun. Looking to pass it on to someone now. Comes with gun, box, papers, 3 mags, backstraps, and 50+ rounds of Federal HST and some other assorted hollow point ammo. Also mounted on the gun is a Streamlight TLR-1. Asking $550 cash in Nashville for all of it. Basing my price on Gunbroker's data, haven't been keeping up with the market lately.

    LWRC's DI rifle

Does anyone have experience with LWRC's DI gun? I saw one at Royal Range for 1250, never thought I'd be able to get into a LWRC for that price. And bonus it's ambi enabled already for my lefty-ness. I've also been considering the DDM4 V7 or Barnes BP15 but for a few hundred less a LWRC seems like a good deal. Thoughts?? 6. ...they pulled me back in... So a couple years ago I was super into Firearms, and began building a nice little collection. THEN my interests drifted to custom knives, and most of the guns went to make room for those... Now, circumstances have brought me back to where I started and I just picked this up a couple days ago... Now the question is... what to grab next...
  7. I posted over in the accessories forum asking a question regarding this firearm, but I figured I'd post here too... Anyway, earlier this last week my wife and I went to see a movie (Black Mass, really good, I recommend), and when we walked into the theatre we both noticed that they were searching people's bags. My wife (who is the least situationally aware person ever) mentioned it, and said it was probably due to now-trend-of movie theatre shootings. Well, when we walked into the theatre my wife pointed out a dude sitting down in the front, alone, hat pulled low, just... kinda flagged her alarm, as it did mine... We stayed for the movie, and obviously nothing happened. However, with this being a trend now, not just in theaters but anywhere really it got me thinking. I don't want to NOT go do the things we enjoy out of a feeling of fear, if we do that the terrorists (domestic or foreign) are doing what they intend to. So I've decided it's time for me to EDC a firearm, at least as much as I can. I've been buying guns for a while now, and even carried some, but call me naive or ignorant, I've never felt the need to actually have something to protect me and mine till recently... So I took a quick trip to the Nashville Armory... Looking forward to breaking her in.
  8. I think that's kinda the point. The TLR-6 doesn't add much bulk, or even change the overall footprint of the 43 that much. But you get both a light and a laser in exchange for a few ounces of weight. Let's consider practice and training a given, and work from there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Let me preface this by saying, call me naive or unprepared, but I've been buying firearms for a while now, even carried them some, but I've never felt the need to have a weapon on me until very recently... Early last week my wife and I went to a movie. They've begun searching bags at the theatre and with the rash of shootings in theaters we were already a little nervous... Down front, was a dude, alone, hat pulled low, just read sketchy... Both my wife and I noticed him, if SHE noticed him, he must have been extra sketchy... She's the least situationally aware person ever.   We stayed for the movie, and obviously, everything was fine. But it got me thinking, I don't want to be afraid to go somewhere because of what terrorists (domestic or foreign) have done. They win if I do that. So, I've begun carrying my Glock 43....   Here's where I want some help, I either want to add the Streamlight TLR-6 laser/light to it, OR I want to get XS Big Dots... Anyone have any pointers or opinions? I'm specifically thinking about darker environments, I'm pretty confident with my shooting ability in bright daylight, but you can't dictate the situation.   Thanks in advance everyone!   -A

I think that's my plan. May go with a .40 actually.

Thought about that. I don't know if I anticipate something on that large of a scale, but it's still a worthwhile thought. I'm leaning Glock's direction at this point.

Kinda felt like the standardization of the Glock platform might be a good thing for me....   -a
