  1. c'mon do you really care that much if it clashes? I currently carry IWB, but I find it very uncomfortable. I have been toying with the idea of getting a OWB (fobus or blackhawk), but I don't know if I could pull it off. Let me clarify that, I want to CC with a OWB. I am a T-shirt kinda guy, but recently I have changed my summertime wardrobe to loose fitting button down (untucked) shirts just to give myself a little more coverage and I think I have enough room for OWB carry. My only concern is if I lift up my arm or bend down that the bottom of the holster will show and I will be made. I plan to go shopping for a OWB holster next week...any suggestions? Pending fit I am leaning towards the Blackhawk.
  2. I didn't carry any extra mags until I read the post about the guy at Valley Fair, MN getting attacked by eight nice young men. I just figured 18 would be enough, but there's much more to consider than just the capacity of your primary mag... like others have said, murphy always shows up when you least expect it. For those of you who carry an extra mag in your pocket... you sure that’s such a good idea? I have been to the range before and dropped a few mags in my cargos or front pocket and it’s not the easiest place to get them out of. IMHO I would hate to be trying to get it out of my pocket when I needed it, I mean after all if you really need it your already in a bad situation. I carry a G17 with 2 extra mags weak side in a Fobus paddle rig for a total of 52 rounds... God I hope I never need all those.
  3. That may not be him, but your going in the right direction.
  4. your welcome.... I knew I set that one up for someone.
  5. thats just not funny at all....
  6. My Slavery was a awful thing. I could not imagine me and my family being slaves to other people or having someone as a slave to me. The blacks that were brought here form Africa paid the price. They suffered, fought, and died for the freedom and opportunity that most of their descendants choose to squander today. I have lived and worked in two different countries in Africa and can tell you from experience that the future of the average African is not very bright. There is no opportunity, education, health care, or infrastructure to speak of. The roads look like a bomb range, the power goes out for hours at least once a day, and you can't drive past the cemetery without seeing the funeral of the latest malaria or HIV victim. The goverment is always unstable because you never know when some rogue warlord is going to come in and take it over or the president is just going to decide that he wants to stay in office for the next thirty years and rape the country. [end rant] That being said, though slavery was horrendous, if I were black I would be thankful for my ancestors and what they went through to get me here and give me the opportunities that I have. I don't agree with the reparations... unless it is a airline ticket.
  7. Well...my thinking is if there are still BGs and I am having reload I have probably already thrown my light at them... so no need to worry about it anymore.

  13. I think this is a sure sign of someone who never has an original thought... he is only used to regurgitating the material and thoughts of others.
  14. "Yes, because he's black. It's a big deal, folks." He is "black" not black "His speech-making is the stuff of legend and I find his message timely for my country." You should see if you can find the unedited version of his press conference in Jordan. Uhh...ummm...uhhhh...umm....well,...ummmm "Obama connects with people. Poor people, rich people, Americans, apparently now Europeans too." He doesnt connect with me and who cares if he connects with Euorpeans. Edit: My something nice.....uhhhhh.... oh, yeah he has a nice smile.
