I live in the center of OR. I see rabbits and squirrels every day and usually see a few deer a week. I don’t think there is a scarcity of game, as a matter of fact I think the game population is probably the highest its been since right before the Civil War. What is lacking is the ability to harvest that game. Most people wouldn’t know how to kill an animal even if they could find it.

That's what I was thinking when I saw this. Maybe I have just seen too many movies, but I'm thinking the guy shouldn't have even been able to get the first shoe in the air! Had the same thing happen to me while doing about 65mph on the highway. The truck didn't veer off or anything and was surprisingly controllable. The scariest part was seeing that 35" tire go bouncing down the road. If it had met an on coming car.... Glad it turned out all right for you.

Like most gun laws this is just a completely stupid idea. Unless the sentence for tampering with the serial number on the firing pin is more severe than the sentence for murder this will not stop any criminal from filing it off and committing his intended crime. Those are some cool pics though

Link that goes to google earth to show the location and the surroundings. Distances to schools, food, gas, shopping, rifle range, interstate, airport, etc. Property taxes city/county/state? Area zoning laws and how properties close by are zoned.
