  1. If a cop catches you in this situation you would be lucky if he just writes you up for texting.
  2. That's what I was gonna say. edit: I was thinking.... would they do something to darken the stone a touch?
  3. Sweeeeet
  4. I really like that case... I need to make one of those for my AR.
  5. Keystone Cops LOL
  6. I wish more people could think the way she does.
  7. Did that lady say "people can hear me scream more or less" and "I feel safer closeer to the city"??????? That lady reminds me or a few Aunts that I have, completely void of common sense.
  8. HMMM..... I don't know where I would go.
  9. Very nice range. I'd really like to see it in person.
  10. At least she knew the secret passwords.
  11. Just a thought with all of the excitement over guns going to Mexico from the U.S. you might want to try to have some kind of documentation of your move with you. Who knows who you could run into with a traffic and what they could try to say you are doing with 30-40 guns on you way to Texas. I may be waaaaay off base here, but it is something to think about.
  12. You should've waited to hear the vendors reply.
  13. Simon was smiling because he saw $$$$$$$$$$$$ (no Pound symbol on my keyboard)
  14. Hmmm... maybe there is a market for a pistol with a lint trap? I carry a Glock IWB and have never had any problems with much lint inside the action itself, but I happend to look up inside the hollow part in the backside of the grip and it was was full of lint. I just stick my finger in there every now and then and clean it out... a little trick I learned from my belly button.
  15. For me it depends on the vehicle. I can crawl under my F-350 so I do it myself, well, that and it is really expensive to get the oil changed in a diesel. If I can't get under it without lifting it somehow then I take it to have it done.
  16. I guess it depends on how much you shoot. If you only go to the range once a year and shoot 100 rounds then I really don't see any need in it because you are never going to shoot very many rounds through your firearm. On the other hand some of us go every week or at least once a month and shoot 200+ rounds. If you shoot often it adds up quickly and I think its just a good idea to keep up with it. I only have one pistol that I bought new and it has 5,150 rounds through it. When I shoot a box I rip off the part of the box that has the ammo info on it and write the date and the pistol it was used in. Currently I just have two pistols (in different cals) that I shoot so its easy to keep up with in my head also.
  17. I thought this was gonna be a thread on how to make 5mm.
  18. Spent all your money on that purdy 870 and had to shoplift some shells eh? Seriously... I agree with Rightwinger on this one. This person made a very poor decision and that brings into question their ability to make proper decisions.
  19. Great pics... someone owes you a new bridge. 8 tons of gravel + 6 tons of truck = broken bridge
  20. I am usually not one for the flashy silver look on any gun, but those marine mags are SWEEEEEEEEET!!
  21. I thought about the regional coding... I find it funny that a bunch of "hillbillies" from Tennessee would remember that this could be a problem yet it flew right over the heads of the o administration. I think this is not the last time we see a blunder like this. edit: The really bad thing about this gift is that it can all be purchased on Amazon.com or the White House gift shop. I can see it now... "I didn't know they had two kids... what are we gonna get them?"
  22. I have a friend that wants to sell me 400 rds. M855 green tip on 10 round strippers LC 07 w/NATO cross 30 rounds per box no markings on the box. I am getting it for a song and I have no intention of reselling it, but I want to show my wife that if I did sell it I could turn a profit. So what do you guys think? Given the current market what would M855 be worth if you could even find it?
  23. If you look at the photo where it says "Register to Vote" they are all holding "Change" signs.
  24. Yeah, that just doesn't cut it.
