I was very disappointed with this also. I think they knew how they were going to vote from the beginning so they didn't bother to educate themselves on the matter. The City Attorney and the City Manager are.... well, I lack the words right now, but two things they said really got under my skin. First, when the City Attorney referred to it as "allowing weapons in parks" Second, when the City Manager said the cost will be $5000, but I don't know how many signs we'll need. Oh, and one more thing. Is it normal to have two Officers present at City Council meetings?

Your experiment is never going to work that way. The evil Glock must be next to an open container of alcohol before it will go crazy and start droppin' people. So I would suggest a full shot glass and a round in the chamber if you want this study to be truly accurate.

When you do something like this you would need to go a little overboard to get their attention. You would need to order one of the most expensive items on the menu and then leave a tip of 40-50% or more if you can. It would also help if you were dressed nicely and were very polite to the server. The card would need to politely explain that you disarmed to enter and will not be returning to their establishment. If you throw down a very big tip you are going to get their attention.

Why if I were you I would have.... done the exact same thing. I think the situation was handled well by everyone involved.
