  1. Oh, are we showing big fish photos? Peacock Bass, Silves, Amazonas Brazil. Steelhead Trout, Prince of whales Island, SE Alaska.
  2. Yeah, I counted 8 of a few things.
  3. Have you tried letting someone else shoot it?
  4. I got to shoot gnmwilliams XDM 9mm on Monday and I loved it. The only thing I didn't like about it was the 4.5 barrel, but now that I see they are coming out with a 3.8 I may have to get one.
  5. You have to ask for the special menu.
  6. I'm gonna try to make this one. I've got a couple of 9x13 plates (pistol and .22 only) that I made, I just need to rig a stand for them.
  7. Yeah, I know all that. I'm just talking about people throwing it in to seem smarter or whatever. The example I gave translates perfectly. je ne sais quoi.... I don't know what I guess saying "It has a certain je ne sais quoi" sounds better than saying "It has a certain... I don't know what?" I saw a "Drive Thru" sign at a McDonalds in Brazil. I don't like Big Macs... think I'll have a Royal with Cheese.
  8. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Monteagle Mountain is the local name given to a stretch of Interstate 24 near Monteagle, Tennessee that passes over the Cumberland Plateau. Being part of the plateau, it is not technically a mountain, but appears that way to motorists crossing over it. It is frequently referenced as one of the most treacherous stretches of interstate in the United States, especially in inclement weather. The historic name for this "Mountain" is Bear Mountain. From this traditional name are also expanses such as Bear Hollow which is located on US41 between Monteagle and Tracy City. The area was settled in May 1870 by John Moffat, a native of Glasgow, Scotland, with his wife and children. It would later would become Moffat Station and still later, the city of Monteagle. Why does Taco Bell say "carne asada steak?"
  9. People who inject foreign words or phrases into a english sentence or conversation. Ex: "It has a certain je ne sais quoi." Am I alone here?
  10. Looks like it's pretty dangerous to me.
  11. Heard this last night at Gander mountain. "If your just gonna keep it in your nightstand and never use it, get a revolver because if you get a auto the springs will weaken over time and it might jam when you need it." I just hate hearing people spew stupid stuff out.
  12. I think that's what I'd do.
  13. I got hit in the head with a croquet mallet once... think I recall seeing the same image then.
  14. Looks like one of Benellis SD shotguns and a Beretta Cx4 Storm had a one night stand. They could have done better.
  15. Best response yet! I shot a M1 Garand just a few hours ago... Wow! I loved it and now I'm gonna have to go down and get one from CMP. My vote would go for the Garand.
  16. If the dues were 3 times as much it would still be a great deal. All the ranges are nice and clean with covered areas so you can keep out of the sun or rain. It's usually not very crowded either. You need to take some time and go down there and shoot. I'm sure there are any number of members, including myself, that would be happy to take you. If for whatever reason you can't go down and look... My opinion... Go for it and join up you won't be disapointed.
  17. I hate to admit it, but I was thinking the same thing.
  18. Try clicking on the little British flag on the 3gun.nl site.

    Funny stuff there!
  20. I think if you had this RONI in your possesion and the proper pistol to mate with it and no tax stamp... Jail time for intent to construct. Just like having a AR upper with a barrel under 16" is not illegal, having it in the same place as a complete rifle with a lower that it can be affixed to and made functional is.
  21. BACON is the GLOCK of meat products!
