  1. The standard ones aren't as tough as you'd think. I warped one with a pair of channel locks and what I thought was minimal pressure. If I'm looking at it correctly, you just need about 1/8" shaved off.
  2. I doubt you'll find a thinner one, I had a hard time finding one period several years ago. Those are pretty thick in the front, you may be able to have it milled to the size you need easier and faster than finding something else.
  3. Yup, that's him.
  4. The offender was discribed as a white male wearing black dress shoes, a bathrobe, and a bomber cap. He was middle aged and appeared to be smoking a cigar and drinkng a beer.
  5. Media: Don't worry it's just a guy banging two coconut shells together.
  6. If I am not mistaken goose was in season at the time and there are goose a plenty in that area. I've hunted that property several times and there is a field just across the river from that park, maybe 1200' away. My first thought when I read the post on FB was dove hunters raining #7.5 down and most people have no idea what a bullet going past their head sounds like.
  7. I doubt Laderrick and Antone roll their own (boolits that is), but you never know, they might.
  8. I went to a private field in Niota. We got there at 3, didn't see many birds until around 5, then they came from everywhere. I think there were about 20 hunters and only one didn't limit.
  9. That's exactly what I was thinking, every once in a great while I carry my 34 with a +2 mag extension. As soon as I sit in my truck I remember why it's every once in a great while. I would have had to followed him to his car to watch how he positioned himself in the seat.
  10. Could be, but I'm going with faux Au. Edit: clean up your quote, I've come to expect better from you.
  11. I don't want to help her with her firearm or holster choices, but I'd love to give her some advice about that gawd awful gold faucet.
  12. I agree 100%. Today that add would have to be a white lesbian couple with a black son, a hispanic daughter and a gender neutral Asian kid. All kidding aside, yeah, people would call for Sears' head and of course Sears would cave and pull the add.
  13. Glad you didn't end up with breach plug dentures. I'm surprised you didn't notice what I am sure is a significant difference in recoil.
  14. Fat Hillbilly Lives Matter? I'm game... We need attach a smoker to you trailer though.
  15. Your Glocks have been telling lies.
  16. I've done enough protesting in the middle of the street to last a lifetime, it was behind the wheel of a dump truck waiting on a paver though. lol
  17. So all you guys talking about freedom to assemble wherever you want and blocking traffic... If I decided to get a couple of friends and block your driveway early one morning you would just shrug your shoulders and say "Oh well, it's their right to be out there blocking the public road, I guess I'll just miss work, my kids can stay home from school, and my wife will just get another flight tomorrow." I guarantee you'd go back in your house, tell your wife (or hubby ;0)) to get the kids and call 911 while you secured a long gun.
  18. My attitude towards them has nothing to do with what they're protesting for. If the Church of God Women's Auxillary was out there blocking traffic I'd say throw them in jail too. If they resisted, give 'em the hose!
  19. Those are accidents, it happens on accident, part of life. I would assume someone would be working to clear the intersection in the event of an accident, not so in this case. If that delivery truck you mentioned was blocking the intersection on purpose or the accident blocking the intersection was intentional, then yes, off to the pokey. I bet if I went down to the intersection of Illinois Ave. and ORTPK and stood in the middle of it with a MY LIFE MATTERS sign, I'd either get a ride in a police car or an ambulance. But what do I know I'm just a dumb white guy sweating my balls off cutting trees trying to make ends meet.
  20. I think it's a silly game, but...good for him if he wants to go walkabout. On the other hand, I hope he can find another job as a "barista and bartender," those are hard to come by.
  21. This. These are as cheap as you're going to find for a dependable sight.
  22. My mom (she's the best!) bought me a 16" STIHL MS171 for my birthday a couple of years back. I only used it occasionally until the end of last summer. My brother decided he wanted to thicken up his 150 acres to improve deer habitat, so I spent the fall, winter and spring (3 days a week 6-8 hrs a day) falling large trash trees and hinge cutting smaller trees. After about 2 months of use it started bogging down when I would start my cut, I researched and found the the spark arrestor screen was coated with soot. I removed it and haven't had a problem since. I use STIHL 2 cycle oil (with 100% gas), STIHL bar oil, and STIHL chains. I have no idea how many hours I've put on that little saw in the last year, but it's a lot. I would buy another one.
  23. Looking at the pic, it appears it's mainly the red ones flaking. Are the blue ones ok? It was red that flaked on us too and they looked exactly like that.
  24. I've seen them flake like that when the bake temp was to high, but if I remember correctly, they flaked as soon as they cooled. You could load them and they will shoot fine, but you'll have a mess in your press, mags and gun. If it were me, I'd melt them and recast.
