There are a lot of things that I could say after reading some of these posts, but I'm just going to say a couple of things...I have a 5 1/2 yo boy and a 1 yo girl. I pray for my children often and when I do I also pray for the kids that will be their future wife, husband, boyfriends and girlfriends.Daughters are Gods revenge on us for being men.

I don't know what your problem is, it was obviously all your fault for being in the way.Seriously, if my child had been guilty of hitting you with that cart I would have been VERY embarassed and.... God I don't know what I would have given for a punishment, but they would still remember it when they were 30.

It was a high of 87 here in Minot, ND today with very little humidity so it felt like 80.

Nothing wrong with a man wanting to see his son catch a fish and asking for advice. Hopefully his son will gain intrest in fishing and it will be a hobby he enjoys for the rest of his life.If he does I'm sure the fish will teach him plenty of dissapointment and that life isn't about guaranteed success.

The spirit of the law? In Tennessee the law says that if I fear for my life I am justified to use deadly force. I guess by his reckoning just carrying a gun could be considered premeditated. I mean after all a gun is not a tool designed to incapacitate it is designed to kill. If someone comes at me they are getting shot center mass (hopefully) if they live or die is between them and God.

This may be true, but an idiot with a gun is still an idiot with a gun no matter the caliber. I don't know the reasoning for that rule, but I am sure it has someones name attached to it. Good luck.

When I saw the title for this thread the first thing of was something akin to a Garden Gnome, but with a gold grill and some kind of sports jersey. When I was younger I worked for a guy hanging vinyl siding. We were working on a really nice house in Knoxvile owned by an older couple and we needed to cut some branches, but we didnt have any cutters. My boss asked the home owners for some and a few minutes later the wife comes around the house with this little pair of snips. He got the snips and went to use them on a branch about as thick as his thumb, he squeezed and squeezed, but couldnt cut through it. The lady, at least in her 70s, snatched the snips back from him and cut right though it. He was embarrassed to say the least and we were all laughing our butts off! She clipped a few more branches before she finally showed him that they were a ratchet type clipper.

Politicians, regardless of party affiliation, are like rounds in a magazine... each one the same as the last. I wonder when people are going to wake up and realize that their "vote" will make no difference. What a stupid law that will only serve to weaken our society.

This UN treaty comes up from time to time and the above quote has been my basic response each time. Sooner or later the people of the United States are going to realize that politicians, regardless of party affiliation, are like rounds in a magazine... each one the same as the last.
