  1. I didn’t get to shoot much, I did get lots of practice loading mags though.
  2. Those rounds were awesome, if memory serves we abandoned the project because they would hand chamber, but not hand eject through my 34. They cycled just fine if you loaded up a magazine and just shot them.
  3. Kinda like glow in the dark condoms.... if you can’t figure it out without it glowing, maybe you don’t need to be doing it.
  4. If you’re ever at the range with Mr. btq96r, keep the above quote in mind if he offers to let you shoot one of his pistols.
  5. I used to watch people throw bread to huge carp at the Calhoun’s locations on the river in Knoxville and Lenoir City. I always day dreamed of tying a fly out of a big tuft of hares foot to resemble bread and trying them with my 8 weight fly rod.
  6. ..... don’t forget to add your bayonet.
  7. I look at that pic and think, Navy trainers suck.
  8. Hate the sin not the sinner.
  9. I recently went to a little museum next to Norris dam, they have all kinds of old farming and kitchen tools/machines from the early 1900s-late 1800s. It wasn’t usually hard to figure out what they were for (the signs with names helped lol) but figuring how exactly to use it could take some time. If you didn’t mind losing a few fingers you could probably speed the process along.
  10. Never use a saw when sandpaper will suffice. Me, today, when I thought I screwed up a door.
  11. When I was six my father was attacked in our neighbors kitchen by her much larger ex-husband. My father reached for anything he could get his hands on and found a 1 liter returnable glass Coke bottle. I can still see that guy stumbling out of that kitchen with blood everywhere. Later my father sat me down to talk about it, this is all I remember of what he said... ”Son, there’s no such thing as a fair fight.”
  12. This is really weird.... I was just thinking about his show yesterday... hadn’t thought about it in years. Thanks for the laughs Super Dave, Rest In Peace.
  13. I almost ran off the road tying to get a picture.
  14. They prefer to called Panthera Pardus.
  15. I can’t say the same thought hasn’t crossed my mind.
  16. Agreed, looks just like my finger every night when I clean out my navel.
  17. Also, if the bullet had traveled down the slide towards the front sight, you would see more damage in that area of the holster, there appears to be none.
  18. That’s the new Trijicon “Dust Bunny” front sight.
  19. He only said “right wing sticker” not right wing radical sticker.
  20. I regret that I voted for Trump and all of those other Republicans. I should have cast my vote for Hillary. I was but a lowly hillbilly gun owner who knew not of what I was doing. Thank you for leading me into the light and showing me the error of my ways. Edit: @Chucktshoes you were spot on target.
  21. My very first thought when I saw that picture was....fembot!
  22. The 80’s was full of stupid ideas, this is a very good example of one.
  23. If memory serves, you said the same (or similar) thing while DJT was running for office and that Hillary would defeat him because of it.... Yet here we are.
  24. Welcome to TN!!!
