That's not what happens when you fall in the water fishing for piranhas, that's what happens to a body that has been floating for a period of time in the Amazon Basin. I've seen people in Brazil catching piranhas on one side of a small dock and kids swimming on the other side (10' away) with no problems.

My goal was humor.
