  1. There are ways to rack a round one handed. I think there are some youtube vids out there. It's useful to know & practice in the event you are one arm injured(or strong hand) & need to clear a jam or reload. Though I hope to never be in that sort of drawn out engagement, not knowing those 'advanced' options leaves you with a disadvantage of having a 20+ oz l shaped baton. *always loaded, wth is a safety?* Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Great thread but I would point out how much the topic title would offend mr richard dean anderson lol Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  3. There are 8 red wolves in tn down in chattanooga, the reintroduction in east tn 20yrs ago failed. Wolves by nature are prone to large roaming ranges & are highly skittish of man. Coyotes will cross breed with domestic dog species it could be that. My guess based on coloration. Many people try to own wolfdog hybrids & fail to understand how difficult they can be & how expensive it can be to maintain & will 'release' them. However, the majority of wolfdog hybrids resemble grey or timberwolves for sale value which this doesn't. Id speculate coyote/gsd mix flavor. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2

  5. I know he's an american icon & a personal favorite but by most accounts he is a self described socially liberal, fiscally conservative libertarian so I thought his appearance at all was an odd choice given the prolife, pro traditional marriage platform. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  6. I got a pretty impressive shoulder rig for when I'm on my segway. Except when I got my outlaw club cut on then its tactical thigh rig all the way. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  7. The problem with policies, regulation & legislation is too often people don't consider what will be the consequences of this to address the situation that seems to warrant the need AND what will be the consequences in the future. The last part too often seems to be neglected in the process. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  8. Just imagine if he was a minority too. I'm surprised the aclu isn't mentioned yet, I would think they would have been quick to comment as usual. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  9. Great debate of evoluton vs creationism. Christopher hitchens vs. Dinesh d'souza (2016 creator) Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  10. http://blog.beliefnet.com/news/2012/08/should-worshipers-be-allowed-to-arm-themselves.php - "The Family Research Council and the Liberty Institute cite 600 recent hostile attacks on people of faith. A black news service asks if worshipers need to arm themselves. And Wisconsin Sikhs mourn their dead. Bring guns to church? Pastor Ken Pagano provoked a firestorm when he invited members of Louisville, Kentucky’s New Bethel Church to celebrate the 4th of July and their 2nd Amendment rights by bringing their firearms to church. The national news media opened fire at the very idea. After all, why should nice church folks need guns to defend themselves? However, two years later as the nation recoiled from a series of shootings at the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., a Colorado movie theater and a Wisconsin Sikh worship center, Black Christian News raised the question again: “Should Christians Be Allowed to Carry Guns to Church?†" - good read..
  11. How outlaw are they really Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Cnn tied it to aurora, the sikh shooting & asked 'are mass murder sprees on the rise?' Never you mind about the 19 people dead in chicago primarily from gang related gun violence. That doesn't fit their antigun agenda. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  13. I don't much care for piers morgan, he seems so meddlesome. I personally feel he believes the u.s. is inferior to her majesty's great island of history & culture. Glad guiliani shut down the antigun rhetoric. My grandmother worked in nyc for 30 years and to hear her guiliani is like the next coming. I've never understood it myself but I don't care for nyc much either so I guess I don't have a paddle in that boat. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2

  16. Occasionally I see people printing or with carrier tells, typically adjustments of belts or shirt backs to avoid printing. All that being said its not common for me to 'make' people, Maybe once a month. I think once I can attribute their action to normal behavior, I.e. shopping, etc I typically dismiss them from mind afterwards so it might be more. Id say aside from venues one would expect, I.e. gun range, shop, etc. I rarely see OC. Maybe 4-6 x per year. I do study people routinely I just feel most hcp here in the metro nashville area tend to cc rather than oc. I think a lot of advancements in concealed holster styles & the explosion of the subcompact market in the past few years has a lot to do with it. I have been surprised to learn certain people carried once they told me because I hadn't noticed. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  17. Somebody is trying... "The McLean County state's attorney said Tuesday that he will no longer press charges against people who violate Illinois gun laws that he considers unconstitutional." http://www.pantagraph.com/news/state-and-regional/illinois/mclean-co-state-s-attorney-takes-aim-at-gun-laws/article_02ed6cef-1324-52c7-b6c4-272940e4e631.html
  18. The old adage is thoughts become words, words become deeds. Deeds in part define you. It's not magic to manifest from nothing, there has to be a basis, which begins in the thought process. The thought process illuminates the tenor of character being defined by thought. Which is what you articulate, which then becomes a deed, which then in part defines you. The development of racism is not wrought overnight but takes repeated reinforcement typically learned early. Redefining yourself from that baseline is a tantamount struggle. Thus I say again good luck. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  19. Bigk, some people have a victim complex that has to be fed. Anyone can verbally affirm their reformation, child abusers & serial killers do it all the time. Society can only judge by actions perceived. And trust or respect shouldn't be expected as it may never be given. I've never met any truly reformed racists only those that continually surpress it so good luck with that. Frankly speaking all this waxing & waning over your transgressions, plight, persecution & subsequent reemergence from the ashes of despair like a phoenix aloft on the winds of enlightenment is a tad overwrought of really needing some significant validation. Perhaps you should get a pet & continue the therapy. This isn't intended to be malicious in any way. I'm glad you feel better about yourself or whatever. And welcome back eh. Can we talk about grain loads and concealed vs open, here on the gun forum? Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  20. I picked up a fairly sharp machete at a gas station/market/hardware store in sparta last year. I thought $8 was hard to say no to. I know a guy that drops half his money on all sortsa medieval & ninja weapons of good quality. I wouldn't think there were any real prohibitions against em. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2

  22. it's interesting that all of their references from Blackstone regard an individual property owner. a church and a corporation do not generally own land under an individual's name but under an organization. while not applicable to a church if I am a shareholder of a corporation does that not in effect make me part owner or at least enough of one to be included under this umbrella of owner's rights? I don't think this is an airtight conclusion.
  23. I think we've established who here values property rights over gun rights & vice versa already. This one will be referenced next time 'guns in parking lots' comes up surely. I submit this more for a little light reading than anything else. Georgia carry law banning firearms in churches upheld.. "In this case, Edward Stone and Jonathan Wilkins (“Plaintiffsâ€) each allege in their Amended Complaint that they regularly attend religious services, possess a weapons carry license, and “would like to carry a handgun†while in a place of worship. Plaintiffs seek a declaration that the Carry Law is unconstitutional on its face and as applied to them because compliance with § 16-11-127 will violate their First Amendment right to the free exercise of their religion and their Second Amendment right to bear arms." http://www.ca11.uscourts.gov/opinions/ops/201110387.pdf first section regarding 1st amendment. pg. 25 starts into the meat of the 2nd amendment.
