My solution to that is don't buy it. Walmart couldn't keep ammo in stock around here before all the madness began so I quit shopping there for anything. Dog food comes from Target at the same price as Walmart and ammo is bought online. Walmart can sit and spin.

There is no such thing as a good price at Gander Mountain.

This is who I use for transfers.

Went with a Hornady single stage. No real complaints. At the time they were offering free bullets with kits and die sets.
-
The madness has hit everything. I went online last night just looking for stock on bullets and powders and most of the stuff I use is out of stock at the more popular internet vendors. I've never seen things this crazy. Might as well wait for your Dillon equipment because it's gonna be tough to find the supplies to feed it.

Need one with a beaver tail please.

Same here. I think quality control is better this way.

Watch 'em. Mine finally shipped with no notification. I got a call from my FFL that it was here and I had no idea that it had even shipped. No updates on the order and no email notification that it had been sent out. Their communication skills suck.
I keep grease on the rails of mine as well. I never had any function problems with Break Free, but like knowing the grease won't evaporate or creep like oil. I have strongly considering having the SRT installed on my P226. From the comments here, I may just have to break down and do it.
I'm actually using some plain ole white lithium on mine and problems went away. The problems I had were only with my reloads and primarily with PMC cases. Only gun that has ever given problems with my reloads. Since I eliminated the PMC cases and started using grease, no more problems. That was with the P229. The P226 has still remained flawless in every way.

Memphis Commercial Appeal publishes Gun Permit Database
Berettatn replied to a topic in Events and Gatherings
Just a footnote to this..........The company that did this in New York is owned by Gannett who also owns WBIR Channel 10 in Knoxville. After this happened, WBIR was deleted from my TV and my cell phone. No more WBIR or Gannett in my house. The Memphis Commercial Appeal is owned by Scripps who also owns the Knoxville News Sentinel. While I'm not a subscriber to the Sentinel, I would suggest those that are cancel their subscriptions immediately. -
They are also trying to legislate morality and common sense, neither of which they are qualified to do because they possess neither of those two things themselves.

Got three of them........two P226's and a P229. Had some minor problems with certain ammo on the P229 until I got it broke in and started using grease on the rails. The P226 has been totally flawless and is the most accurate handgun in my hands that I own.

Trooper did indeed have a medical problem and is now deceased. Rural Metro fire truck ended up on its side trying to get to him, hitting a citizen performing CPR on the trooper in the process.

Here's the letter to the company's CEO. His name and address is here for anyone that wants to send them a letter. Mr. Brad Smith President and Chief Executive Officer Intuit 2632 Marine Way Mountain View, CA 94043 Dear Mr. Smith, Due to your company’s recent actions toward businesses who deal in firearms or firearm accessories, my two firms will no longer be doing business with Intuit. We will begin immediately searching for a new company to provide our accounting software and services. I find the actions of your company to be reprehensible. I look forward to reading about your company going out of business, and you working the back of a garbage truck in the ghetto somewhere.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that has these problems. My solution is to top off my tank at the gas station and spill gas everywhere despite the high prices. Sorry environmentalist $hitheads.
-
Same problem here which would not bother me if they had not taken money out of my checking account a week ago. I've resorted to posting on their facebook page.
-
Having problems with them now. I understand the slow shipping given the madness, but this morning their website wasn't working, their chat wasn't online, and their phones were not working. Makes me VERY nervous about where my money went.

Can Barack Obama Ban Guns By Executive Order?
Berettatn replied to JohnC's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
What I don't think everyone thinks about is the fact that we are outnumbered at almost every turn. We are outnumbered at the voting booth by people who think they are entitled to everything someone else works for. We are outnumbered in the executive branch. We are outnumbered in the Senate. We will be outnumbered in the next election by losing the House. We will be outnumbered on the Supreme Court soon if we are not already. There really isn't much more to be done politically. -
White House to bypass congress on gun control
Berettatn replied to ted's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Obama is in full control. He is not going to stop until he gets what he wants. Congress can't stop him. Courts can't stop him. Voters reelected him. Whats left?
There is nothing left. We are toast in my opinion. -
Nobody will be able to have a heart attack at this show cause there won't be room to fall over.

The problem we have is that the uneducated/lazy folks that want the government to do everything for them are now in the majority. They will continue to elect people like Obama and a Democratic Congress. I don't expect to ever see a Republican President in the White House again in my lifetime. I think things have been bad the last few years and I expect them to get worse. The United States of America that my parents enjoyed will be no more. The banning of guns will be the final tipping point as we go over the cliff. I thank God more and more that I do not have children.

Got the little S&W 432. I really like it. Sold my .38 airweight in favor of the .32.
