I thought I was being sneaky having my gift drop shipped, but the shipping notice they emailed me looks like they put my name in the address. Fail. LOL

No captions, just an observation. There is no way Biden does not know that he is looked at like a fool by the right and Obama's mascot by the left. I really wish that had been pointed out to him during the VP debate. Might have stopped his stupid laughing for a bit.

My budget for family gifts was really small this year, so I got them all small alcohol stoves. Not only are they good for SHTF, but also for normal things like power failures.

Yep. It worked very well. I have been telling my wife that I need to get this, so I guess I now have the excuse to maintain it later. LOL -

Yes, thank you for putting this together. I appreciate it, and the new recipes to try out. -
Hmmm... I guess it's not a Gary Coleman?

Ok, now that was just a little bit creepy.

I understand what you are saying, but at the same time I don't choose to walk around ignorant and blame someone else. I choose to walk around a free American. If someone or something, like the government, takes something from me I expect to get it back.

At 706 I think I have you all beat, well, if lowest is the goal that is.
Well, perhaps this is an issue that we will just have to disagree on, but here it goes. If TSA tells you that you cannot bring such objects on a plane, and someone tries to bring them on the plane, I do not see this as stealing. I would argue that in many cases it would be best if TSA returned the items to their rightful owners, but we all know this isn't the case. Once in possession, what is TSA supposed to do? They auction them off in lots, some of which make it to Ebay (people buy the lots at auctions and then place them on Ebay). I suppose it would be better for TSA to place photos on the internet of 10,000 SAK's being turned into scrap metal? Post a photo of police agencies scrapping guns and then everyone cries "I'll take them! I'll buy them!". Most of those guns are probably stolen, used in crimes, etc.
Yeah, I would think this is most certainly government theft. This stuff belonged to people. The government confiscated it and then SOLD it. That is theft no matter how you cut it. They could have tagged the item and then placed it with the crew until the plane reached destination. Seems complicated, but they could come up with a system for it. They could, as mentioned, allow people to mail the stuff home. They could also take the stuff and throw it away, but instead they are selling it. Pure and simple theft.

Yeah, .22's are awesome. I have noticed the last few times I have gone to the range I have shot about 400 .22's and less than 50 9mm. It can be my tricked out Ruger 10/22, my wife's Glenfield 60, our Henry Survival or my Hp-22a it don't matter. I love the .22 for the sheer cost and fun factor.

Got mine ordered. It will be drop shipped direct to the member, so they will not know who it came from Muahahahaha...

Another night of third shift. Ugh.
-
23:00 to 07:30 the first 5 days then 19:30 to 07:30 the last two. Then off for 4 days to readjust.

I will be here off and on. I am on third shift this week. 7 nights of it.

The whole gun cult thing has always tripped me out. The one that really gets me are the guys that swear up and down on the .45 for a handgun because 9mm just is not strong enough, but at the same time think that the AR with it's overgrown .22 round is top notch and 30cal is overrated. Never understood that.

I'll go with $1.00, Bob. Oh wait, that's something else.

How you carry with YOUNG children around.
Will H replied to MississippiBoy's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I have a 5 year old, and whenever we are going to get down and play in the floor at home or at a park I just reach down and put my Beretta's safety on. The firing pin block rotates up and that extra level of security is there just in case of horseplay. Simple. My 5 year old already knows gun safety too. That's the biggest thing. I know a lot of people will take this personally, but I don't mean it that way. Glock makes, in my opinion, some of the very best range/duty guns on the market today. That said there is no way I would ever CC one no matter what. I want the manual safety in an active family lifestyle with kids jumping on you as soon as you walk in the door, a dog that got to ambush you when you walk in the backyard, etc. Now, not any old safety will do. I want to know that firing pin block is moving and the gun will not go off. I also want to use it when holstering my weapon. I can then flip the safety off when leaving the house. No, I do not rely on a mechanical safety, but I like to have it as that extra layer of protection. -
Where would you shoot.......head or body
Will H replied to chances R's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I don't see why there would be. If you just happen to hit the head while shooting to stop a threat then so be it. I don't see how they could prove headshot on purpose. -
I will be working Thanksgiving and the day after. We supply all the Pringles in the US, Canada, Mexico, etc. from our one plant in Jackson, so holidays must be worked sometimes. It's not too hard. Our little family Thanksgiving will be on Saturday instead. Oh, and I will be making triple time money those two days.

2 rounds of +P+ 9mm center mass should work just fine no matter what they are wearing. If that don't do it my Storm SC has 12 more still in it. -
I must prefer your regular types of zombies.

Only time will tell.
Cool, then you should appreciate that absolute truth youtube video about how Hurricane Sandy was manipulated by the government's HAARP project and by Chemtrails. Oh, and the one where it turns out the pope left his hat on an alien's ship. Sorry man, I just could not resist.
