  1. I reached a good compromise imo, OWB, but inside the belt.  It's far more comfortable for me.
  2. Welcome to the party.
  3. I have a relative buried at Arlington, so I did not really appreciate that, but you did not know that, so no harm.   The reason to stick to conventional political means is simple.  The conventional political battle is not over yet.  There is currently no EBR or normal capacity ban in effect and no guarantee that there will be in 2013 or 3013.   The political means are not yet exhausted.  Once they are the situation will be different, but for now there is no reason to sabotage this battle by starting another one.  This is only my opinion, so organize whatever you want, and march or stand wherever you want.
  4. My comment was not aimed at you good sir.  Sorry for the CORNfusion.
  5. And I renewed 3 weeks ago.
  6. There are other ways of standing up and being counted that armed marches and demonstrations in the streets.  I throw my backing in with the NRA.  They are not perfect, but they are the only ones, imo, that have the stroke to get anything done.   The NRA says armed guards and the POTUS responds.  He does not agree, but he responds.  They have the voice.  We should work to add ours to it.
  7. I think people are just frustrated right now with what is going on politically, with an inability to locate ammo, with all the bad press out there about gun owners, etc.  People are upset, touchy, and argumentative.  Hopefully things will get back to "normal" and people can calm down.
  8. Your average John Q Public-Sheep would also have a brown-out as you put it.  I think things like this would just make us look worse, and as pointed out in another thread how long before the ranks of the armed were joined by someone from the left who decided to actually fire a weapon.  That would be the worst thing that could happen to us right now, imo.
  9. ^^^  One can only hope.
  10. Unless someone in that theater did not get an emergency call that something had happened to someone important to them.  Then you might would feel a bit bad.
  11. No doubt.  Painful thing to watch, but at least everyone is ok.
  12. It has made it hard.  I have not been able to find stuff for sometime and finally ended up ordering a case of .22 on GB.
  13.   The way you have been talking to other members one can only hope that next he locks your account.  I don't know if maybe you are new to forums, but here is a tip in case you are.  No forum out there, be it about guns, cars, or anything else will put up with someone that starts insulting other members, especially if that person is brand new to the forum.  People like that are known as trolls, and you will not find a reputable forum willing to put up with them.
  14. Yes, we could add the Kentucky Bourbon to our Tennessee Whiskey.  Then we would win!   Muahahahahaaa!     Win what?  Heck, I don't know.  Don't trifle me with details.
  15. IMO the hard part will be deciding what we are going to do once they have decided what they are going to do, and then what the state decides to do.  It may come down to a question of "Underground Outlaw" or armed organized resistance.
  16. ^^^  Now that is funny.  Kind of like the old Hooked on Phonics.  1-800-ABC-DEFG
  17. Clicked, but it said page not found.
  18. I have been depriming all I have then cleaning them.  Once they are clean and dry I do them one at a time from sizing thru to done.  I am sure the speed will pick up over time.  This new auto-prime will help that.  It's also not something I am doing in a hurry.  It would most likely go a lot faster if I were not watching TV at the same time.  LOL
  19. It would be nice to have for small game.  One thing I think a lot of people overlook is just how loud their ARs are going to be.  Quiet hunting can help a lot if you are trying to lay low.
  20. Gotta love a lever gun.  My Winchester 94 is well worn and well loved.  It's been used so much that I am currently waiting on a new hammer as the full cock notch has finally stripped out.  The meat she has put on the table could only be measured in tons.  LOL.  I cannot wait to get her up and running again.   Besides, the repair is a good excuse to take her to the range, as 30-30 is not cheap to shoot.
  21. I would actually be willing to give the liberals their 10 round deal...  So long as the law would also say that the issue of gun control could never again be legislated, dictated, mentioned on the floor of the house, senate, could not be addressed by the executive branch or even mentioned in an official capacity.   I don't see that happening, so no, I have no plans on abiding by what they decide.   My only hope is in organized state level defiance of what the feds say.  Many people say that a state cannot stand against the feds, but as we have seen with Colorado's approval of weed for recreational use the feds will back down when pushed.   Liberal politicians lack the courage of their convictions.
  22. Yeah, thanks man.  It was exactly what I was looking for.  I traded off my Beretta 92 for a Ruger GP100, but I still have my 9mm Storm Subcompact for daily carry.  I ended up giving 20 rounds to my dad who now carries them in his P95, so you supplied carry ammo for two.  Thanks again.
  23. Nope.  I am using the Lee Classic loader.  It's the manual version where to have to hammer the components together.  I can only make about 10 rounds an hour.   It's this on, although I paid a lot less for it.  http://www.amazon.com/Lee-Precision-38-SPL-Loader/dp/B00162RS7O/ref=sr_1_fed1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1356758063&sr=8-3&keywords=classic+lee+loader   Yeah, Southhaven is not too far from where I am, so it's a good excuse to get the family out and about.
