Not yet. The author of the new Glock book was supposed to post the reschedule date, but nothing yet.

It was supposed to be on CBS Sunday Morning but the piece was pushed due to more relevant/current news.

I enjoy bookers and Woodford. Also a little talked about bottle is Basil Hayde ns. Won't break the bank and is tasty when served neat.

I'm looking to shoot my first match in 2 weeks. I have a Glock 17 and after doing some research, it seems a lot of folks use that in the SSP division if I'm correct.

Ghost in my 21. Scherer in my 17. No difference except a few dollars maybe.

I have found that I enjoy the extended slide release, esp on a meaty piece like the G21. For me, I'm able to use my right thumb to get a better grip on the release during reloads. I have also added a 3.5 lb trigger connector, makes for a light and consistent trigger pull. Both those mods are easy, taking about 10 minutes.

I have a Smith model 645 with the original black grips, however the S&W medallion is missing on the left grip. I have a set of Hogue wood grips to put on but I thought I would see if anyone (extreme long shot) has either the medallion or a set of black grips. If so, please PM me. Thanks, Clay

As I'm new to the forum, I haven't figured out how to post pics yet. Can someone host? If so, I'll email them. The grips are smooth, appear to be the original (walnut?). The finish is very, how do you say, salty. There is light/medium freckling on most of the gun, although it appears to be original, i.e. no rebluing or parkerized. Definitely not the type of condition that you'd be afraid to shoot. Rifling in the barrel is visible and appears to be in good shape. It does have the lanyard ring on the bottom and all the appropriate markings, U.S. Property etc. According to what I read, Colt and S&W each made 150k of these? Then, they released civilian models that bear close resemblance to the military ones. The letter from Colt would be $100. I've been told it adds value to the firearm and I'm very curious about who first purchased it, although I'm fearful it would read something like 'XYZ Distributors' or something generic like that.

I just acquired a Colt M1917 DA revolver. Serial number dates it to being made in 1918. It is far from mint but everything works as it should. I have no clue on the history of this particular piece. Anyone have one of these? Couple more questions. Did you get a letter from Colt stating it's authenticity/original owner? Reblue/refinish? Is it worth holding onto or selling ? Might be a needle in a haystack but I'd appreciate the input.
