My roommate and his friend got robbed and shot at tonight
MattCary replied to a topic in General Chat
Glad to hear your friends are all ok. Completely understand your feelings. If it's any consolation, I hate M'boro too, and I live in Knoxville. -

Pegboard hangers are MOLLE compatible. But will the tactical plates stop a .308 round?
-
I bet that video makes PITA themselves.

Mac, As painful as this day is for you, I want to thank you for sharing these stories. I was a Volunteer First Responder at the time and I wanted desperately to be there to help. Thanks again for sharing.

I love the ERGO I have on mine. I also like the nice little storage compartment it provides.

I went to my TWRA/NRA range and put 100 rounds of 5.56 downrange at 50 and 100 yards. Along with 7 rounds of .45 ACP. Disassembled and cleaned a 1911.

Gecko45 hit the lottery and this was the result of the first shopping trip?

Not quite... Carter moved up a position. I made it about 3 seconds into that video. And two was moving the mouse to the close button.

My philosophy: Hold 'em or catch them napping! That kitten of yours is cute though!

"For all these reasons, I hold that the state has an important government interest in promoting public safety and preventing crime," Judge Seibel said in <cite class="cite" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: transparent; font-style: italic; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; ">Kachalsky. v. Does any of the above strike anyone else as "infringement," or is it just me?

Welcome TBBlues! Thanks for your service and glad you're home safe!

I understand, Buck. I still appreciate your interest in sharing what you can! Thanks for your service.

Buck, Thanks for offering your knowledge! I've been reading through this thread thinking it sounded like a great idea... until you said "Hostile Gov Survival" and now it sounds like an imperative. BBS, sounds like a great idea to me! I haven't been camping in a while and would love to participate.

Interesting new criminal tactic
MattCary replied to MattCary's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
So, everyone has equipment installed in their homes to automatically vent sleeping gas out so the bad guys can't use this tactic on you, and I'm just behind the times cause I didn't pay close enough attention to the Batman movies? Don't know what I was thinking. Perhaps I should be paying more attention to the tabloids as well, like they did in "Men in Black." What wasn't clear in the article is whether they are breaking in, and gassing the room that people are occupying, or gassing the entire structure before breaking in. If the latter, it seems like that would require a lot of equipment/volume of gas to accomplish. Gassing a hotel room or a tractor trailer cab is one thing, but this story is talking about a resort villa and "houses." -
Exactly my point, Lester! I'll promise you it wasn't AGW, or greenhouse gas emissions from SUVs. In fact, I'd argue it was *gasp* Climate Change!

Interesting new criminal tactic
MattCary replied to MattCary's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
New to me I suppose... seems like it would take a lot of gas to gas a house or villa though.
