  1. And yet you post your snide comments in all of them. Gotta love a self admitted troll. Two anti-American, Pro-Sharia law men will be leading prayers at the DNC convention... move along, nothing to see here.
  2. That is where my first thoughts went... will the good guy get charged here?
  3. This is very... interesting. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/dnc-announces-2-hour-islamic-jumah-prayers-after-rejecting-cardinals-blessing-and-you-wont-believe-whos-invited/ "The Democratic National Committee is raising a number of eyebrows after announcing that it will be hosting Islamic “Jumah†prayers for two hours on the Friday of its convention, soon after denying a Catholic cardinal’s request to say a prayer at the same event."
  4. Godspeed to a true American hero.
  5. Yep. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2012/08/robert-farago/9-out-of-14-rounds-fired-by-new-york-city-cops-may-have-hit-civilians/
  6. "It was not clear if Johnson actually fired his gun in front of the building. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said some of the victims struck by bullets may have been accidentally shot by police officers during the shootout."
  7. So far, to me, it sounds like the only person the "shooter" shot is the former co-worker. The nine outside sound like they were caught in the police shootout with the perp (who doesn't seem to have got a shot off outside.)
  8. I wear a 5.11 holster shirt when the weather permits (under 70 degrees or so) and love it. Most of my days are driving and the shirts allow me to carry a full size pistol comfortably. They are also about as concealed as you can get. As stated above, I don't wear them when it's hot, so sweat has not been an issue.
  9. Well, now I have a term for mine. Thanks! Mine has silver coins I've collected over the years, along with little knick knacks and similar to what the article listed.
  10. Actually Dave, knowing what was going on all the time was the best part. It is very stressful and fast paced. You'll need to demonstrate the ability to read and comprehend a map, and give good directions, in addition to multitasking and thinking on your feet. Obviously, you'll need to demonstrate an ability to speak clearly on the radio, and, probably the most difficult part: comprehend everyone else on the radio. If you or a friend have a scanner, you can listen to exactly what the "on air" portion of the job sounds like in your county.
  11. "Uh... huh huh, I'm like, uhhh, a congresswoman, uhh, huh huh."
  12. Glad to see I'm not the only night owl. This seems to be all over the web atm, and given that Romney is speaking tomorrow at the USS Wisconsin, it seems like a good bet. Not sure where I'm at on it, I'm 0 for 2 in my choice for candidates thus far.
  13. In "Debt of Honor:" Jack Ryan has been appointed to fill the VP slot vacated by the resignation of Ed Kealty. The plane hits the Capitol Building during the swearing in ceremony, everyone in the gov is present, except Jack, who is in the tunnel waiting to enter the chamber. "Executive Orders" begins with the dust clearing and the secret service calling Jack Ryan "Mr. President." He takes the oath of office in front of a judge and a CNN camera, IIRC. I, too, thought of these books on 9/11.
  14. ROFL!! The proposed "High Capacity Police Car" Ban. ROFL.
  15. I get my best rest at the wheel. Let's hope it remains dead. I don't think we'll be so lucky, though.
  16. No doubt he has an "arsenal" at home, with a "stockpile" of something dangerous.
  17. We have a winner to the "Knee-Jerk What Should We Ban Immediately" competition. Now, get to work on it.
  18. So. What should we ban?

    Flash Mobs

ROFL!!! There need to be more videos of perps running over each other trying to get away from justice. BTW. WTF is up with that guys tan lines? Did he fall asleep at the beach with Oakley Goggles on? He seriously needs a smaller pair of sunglasses.
  20. OMG! Look at this HUGE cache of guns and 5,800 rounds of ammo in a car in San Fran. (Look closely at the photo of the "cache.") http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2012/08/01/homeless-man-found-with-weapons-cache-list-of-names-in-sf-golden-gate-park/ " San Francisco Police displayed an array of high power weapons and ammunition Wednesday that were found in a homeless man’s car last month in Golden Gate Park." I suppose a BB gun is "High Powered" in CA. " When police found a huge cache of guns, knives, a shotgun, 5,800 rounds of ammunition and camouflage gear in Robert Johns’ car on July 21st it was thought they may have diverted some kind of planned attack." Want to bet the ammo is .22?

    Flash Mobs

"OMG, OMG, Boo got shot!" Google it if you aren't familiar with it. Prepare to laugh.
  22. http://thehill.com/v...control-measure Here we go. Proposed is back to 10 round mags. Light up your Congresscritters. Sponsored by who you'd guess: The amendment was sponsored by Democratic Sens. Frank Lautenberg (N.J.), Barbara Boxer (Calif.), Jack Reed (R.I.), Bob Menendez (N.J.), Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), Schumer and Dianne Feinstein (Calif.). S.A. 2575 would make it illegal to transfer or possess large capacity feeding devices such as gun magazines, belts, feed stripes and drums of more than 10 rounds of ammunition with the exception of .22 caliber rim fire ammunition.
