I carry a J-Frame with 2 speed strips. I prefer the strips over the bulk of speed-loaders. There is also a full box of +p in the car.

Highway department says they'll come by and check it out... they salted 2 days ago, but I think all they managed was to melt the snow, which immediately turned to ice.   I was able to get up the hill in the picture, but the right at the stop sign and up the hill offered absolutely no traction.

This is today, still unable to get out. The road looks just like a skating rink...

You can "Courtesy Flush" and wash your hair at the same time...

Best album to get a ticket to: Ride the Lightning.   First album I heard: Master of Puppets. A friend loaned it to me when it came out, I was hooked.   Favorite album: The $5.98 EP: Garage Days Revisited.  Because I actually own the CD; bought it the day it came out. (They were damn hard to find; Disc Exchange had a waiting list that was usually 50 people long and they sold it for $50.00.)   I haven't heard most of the new stuff (Since S&M,) but I did listen to the Sirius Mandatory Metallica channel today, and heard a few. Not quite the same, but not bad.   Favorite Metallica moment:  Standing at the barricade in front of Hetfield on the "Justice" Tour, for Whiplash. He flipped me his pick at the end of the tune.   Favorite Tune: Orion.

I have several pairs of the 5.11 Taclite pants and love them.   They pass off easily as Khakis in the conservative world of insurance and as mentioned above, the pockets are very useful.    I especially like the cell phone pocket on the right front.   They are teflon impregnated and have yet to develop any stains from crawling around on the ground while inspecting vehicles.
