1. Same thing happened to me in 2010. Thirty-five years of service, department lead and spotless employment record. The company was sold to an international wide company just to absorb its assets and clients. Once done they set about eliminating as many employees as possible. Same day I got axed, they let three other twenty-five years plus employees go. They eliminated the people who built the company and kept the ones who only show up for the paycheck.   I wish them a quick trip to HELL.
2. What part of Whites Creek? I work in that area. Lot's of wooded hills to hide a bear.
3. Gently wrap garbage bag around nest, cut limb, tie bag and leave on that noisy neighbors porch after dark.
4. I bought a Roku 3 streaming box and have enjoyed it. Hook up was easy and has worked flawlessly on our home wifi. It will stream all the major services (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube, etc.) as well as many more lesser known channels. A lot of classic content and some real offbeat stuff. Good way to kill a few hours decompressing.
5. Maybe work with someone who can shoot.   http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/05/15/south-carolina-man-dies-trying-out-bulletproof-vest-report-says/
6. Just do the total opposite of the way the Bill Goodman shows are run in Nashville. You pay for parking, pay admission and wade thru all the worthless non-firearm related crap. You come away feeling cheated.   Just do the opposite and you will be more successful.
7. I have several and they are great if you don't want to make a trip to the range. I shoot in the backyard and if the weather is really bad, in the basement. I built a pellet trap out of wood and duct seal. Controls the pests in the garden and bird feeders.   Tons of fun with big boy toys.   Crosman 1377 w/steel breech Crosman 1322 w/ steel breech Gamo Big Cat Benjamin 392 Benjamin Nitro Piston 22
8.   Well if it is, I've been a BAAAAD Boy!
9. NOOOOOOOO. Never saw it. Nope. Nope. Didn't get it.
10. I have a Roku 3 and love it. Easy to use and there is a lot of free content channels also.   Currently using Netflix and Amazon Prime trying to decide which to keep. We probably watch Netflix more.
11. I read just a couple of days ago that Sears Corp. was one of the companies that would probably crash and burn in 2014.   I too bought the "Big Red" box at Harbor Freight. Couldn't be happier with it. Good toolbox for the money.
12. Why do I always pick the lane behind the moron who doesn't have a pen at the bank drive thru?
13. It's not english, but the message is clear. Don't steal.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBrHtCuQsCw
14. I purchased a Mosin M44 from them via C&R license. Sale was smooth, shipped quickly and was exactly as advertised. Good people to deal with.
15. I am ashamed he calls Tennessee home. Despicable.   http://rbr.com/al-gore-sells-current-tv-to-al-jazeera/   Network will become Al-Jazeera America.
16. I agree, getting your hands dirty is the best way to learn. I just don't want to fry myself or the homestead in the process. I'm gonna do some reading to make sure I do it safely.  \From the TGO guidance I've gotten on this post, I will probably get a MIG unit. It will probably meet my simple needs. Thanks to all.
17. WOW! Tons of useful help from TGO'ers. Always find a wealth of knowledge here.   Thanks for your guidance, you've given me some great advice. Thanks to all.
18. I have long wanted to learn to weld, but have never pursued it. I would like to tackle a few projects that welding will make easier. Are there any resources in the Nashville area where I could learn basic welding? I'm not looking for a full blown trade course, just basic welding skills. The projects I have in mind would be 1/4 inch mild steel or smaller. I'm not opposed to just getting a welder and some scrap steel and learn by doing, but a little basic knowledge in equipment and technique would get me headed in the right direction. Any advise would be appreciated.
19. Love it!!! Even my wife watches and she's a Chicago yankee, who I am slowly converting to redneck style.
20.
Anyone know where you can find the tiny screws for pocket clips on the knife? I tried Home Depot and Ace Hardware with no luck.
I lost a clip screw on my CRKT M16, so I contacted them via website and they promptly sent me a new complete clip and screw set free. Great company!
21. They need to get their equipment manager a vision test. Something wrong with his eyes.
22. Another vote for the Crossbreed Supertuck. I own two of them and being a bigger guy I find them the most comfortable that I have tried.
23. +1 on convexing. I think I have tried every system available. I learned how to use the sandpaper and mouse pad and my knives have never been sharper. If I have several blades or a new knife to do, I use my little 1x30 sander and 20, 15 and 9 micron belts that I got from Lee Valley. Hit 'em on a leather strop and start shaving. After that just have to touch them up on a strop unless they get really dull or a nick.
24. I don't place the blame on CJ alone, their current status is certainly a team effort. It just frustrates me to know when he gets the ball it is not going anywhere. And the Titans opponents know this as well and concentrate their efforts shutting down the passing game. As for the defense, well it speaks for itself. All in all, not fun to watch anymore.
25. Johnson is a great running back if the goal posts were on the sidelines. It appears now he forgot his job is to move the ball downfield. A defensive player only has to say BOO and down he goes. Park his butt on the bench and give the backups a chance, can't be any worse off.
