  1. Merry Christmas
  2. Just bought a 1000 115gr 9mm from Freedom a few mins ago. They are having 5% off all ammo and $7.50 flat rate shipping today. Paid $187.42 for the 1000 shipped
  3. Phoenix Glass in Knoxville has served me well for several buses and vans from work. Last price I got from them on a vehicle was nearly $200 cheaper than Safelite, and $75-100 cheaper than anyone else local.  http://www.phoenixglass.biz 865.947.5706
  4. Thanks for the links! We have uniformed, full time security. And then ones like myself that are already employed for a certain job and are taking on security duty while at work also. Uniformed guys are open carry on a duty belt. But the plain clothes are concealed.
  5. Iwb is ok I think, but not the typical clips that go around a belt, plus no thumb strap on the holster
  6. I am finishing training for armed security and will be working plainclothes at a college. I'm having trouble finding good holsters to meet the requirements I was given. I am planning to carry my Glock 19. I am normally wearing a button up shirt that has to be tucked in and cargo pants. My plan was to use my iwb, but those are not allowed (security director repeatedly said NO). Was told that it needs to have belt loops, and at minimum a thumb strap.    Head of security recommended an ankle holster which also has a thumb strap, but carrying a Glock 19 on the ankle isn't fun. (I have done it tho). And I don't have the funds to purchase a smaller gun at the time (closing on a house next week, moving, etc) I'm wanting to eventually get a Glock 26 or Shield and carry on ankle tho.    So does anyone have suggestions of a holster that might work, or suggestions on how to carry? I've been carrying personally for 6yrs and always carry iwb or owb and wear a shirt or jacket over it. But this has kinda thrown me for a loop :panic: , Ive been searching for hours online to not much avail. But I have created a nice list of "cool stuff" I want lol    I have thought about shoulder holsters, and wear under a button up shirt, but I would imagine they would print horribly.     Any help is appreciated.

    RIA Deal?

Thanks!! Been looking for my first 1911 for some time. Finally bit the bullet
  8. http://www.tn.gov/twra/deerseasons.html If I'm reading it correctly you have to have the 094 to take a doe even during "doe days" if you have a regular license.
  9. Wow just saw the need for additional licenses for big game etc. I've read thru the licenses several times trying to figure out everything I would need to hunt deer. First I thought just a hunting license was all I needed, then see the 094 to kill does, now I found the ones you mentioned. Thanks for the heads up. I sent them an email. Kinda makes me want to give up and quit hunting. Certainly won't be doing any deer hunting now the rest of this season. :(
  10. I grew up in Alum Creek, just outside of Charleston.
  11.   Thanks, I've lived here several years but have never had the time or opportunity to do any hunting here. Back in WV lived on the family farm and didn't have to have a license.    BTW the form I submitted was for just one doe. Biggest thing I was worried about is, I don't have the 094 with my license.
  12. I was checking out the online check in process when I accidentally submitted the form. Is this something to worry about or just ignore it?
  13. Got mine in last week while in NYC, then the mounts came in today. First scope I've ever put on, so I'm sure i'll have to adjust it a time or two to get it where i need it. But it looks pretty sweet! Now to find time to try it out.
  14. I've used Budget trucks both times I helped my parents move in the past (this yr and a few yrs ago). First move was from WV to FL and then from FL to TN. Both times Budget was much cheaper than uhaul, and plus, the truck we used was diesel and got better fuel milage than a gas.
