  1. some how take the teeth out of the tenn. gun buster sign and carry concealed. if i read the law right non-permit people get in less trouble carrying behind the sign
  2. had to give up drag racing in 74 just couldnt afford it anymore. after 12 years it wasnt easy. we did win our share of races locally but not good enough to get sponsors. been back 3-4 times just to play once with the same car and then with my junky 82 dodge diesel. had some fun but  money still an issue not to mention age.
  3. worked on them longer than that and have NEVER seen a tech that didnt need some help some time in his career.
  4. didnt seem to bother you when u drove it
  5. for those that think chry products older than 93 are dead the car in my avatar is in this months hot rod mag. with tires and tags  one could drive it down the street
  6. i wasnt old enough to be in it but i remember the old farts talking about it. i was born in 1937.  some of the things that i think i remember on the local scene some of my buddies say it didnt happen so i will leave it at that.
  7. been in a phase for about 30 years. anything that trips my fancy that i can afford. if i cant afford it i dont buy.
  8. went to bed i will hear more than i want to for the next 2-3 weeks. i NEVER listen to him all i can do is vote and hope for the best but i really think it is too late for this once great country
  9. just hope the power stays on. self sufficient for about 2 weeks BUT old legs will be a pain trying to get my gen up and running. have trouble walking on dry ground much less ice and snow. ps only one in a square mi. that had power and hot meals in the 93 storm.
  10. my son used to be unreal with his at 100 yrds back when we practiced regularly. he didnt need a rifle. marriage does strange things though. over penetration can be a problem though
  11. cannot exist??????????? me thinks it is already here
  12. propane or natural gas all the way. dealt with gasoline for several years converted my military gen. to propane and havent looked back.. oh mine is big enough that the small loss of power is not noticable.
  13. just what i told an anti-gun detective friend of mine when he ask me why i carried a weapon.  he would get there after the fact.
  14. been stopped twice in last 15 years. both times i felt hassled. one got upset because of cocked and locked. second one same thing plus took my weapon, unloaded it and told me to put it under the seat. he said i had to keep it concealed. after he said he wouldnt write me we had a rather heated discussion about the law as written. i now keep a copy in all 3 vehicles. called him to prove my point BUT he never returned my call.
  15. obama isnt taking over he is already in charge. seems like all the congress critters are afraid of him.  BOTH sides
  16. question about wood. why do people who cut wood not want standing dead hard wood? not talking about rotten wood. i have tried to give away oak and hickory that has died and still standing and no one wants it. talking about trees on the side of a nice gravel road. i wind up pushing them to the side of the road and let them rot.
  17. wish i was as perfect as some of these critics think they are
  18. just remember people it is illegal to kill or molest a snake in tenn. run into a game warden with an agenda and one can have a very bad day. needless to say the rattlers are very good eating. ate my first rattlesnake meat at the big texan "think that is the name"  in Texas years ago
  19. did that once with a 45. cant prove it though we never found the ball and i never saw it leave. it just disappeared . we looked for 30 minutes and never found it. only about 30 feet away though.
  20. if feinstein is for it i am automatically against it
  21. i have seen buzzards eating cats killed on the railroad that runs in front of my house. have seen them gathered around dogs but never did they eat the dog.
  22. oops thanks guys will remedy the situation.
  23. ok guys my question is can a 38 case be loaded heavy enough to hurt a 357? not in to reloading at all thought it couldnt be loaded that heavy if so i will toss them.
  24. i have about 60 38 reloads unknown origin. i shot a few in my 357 figured that would be safe enough BUT one of them was as loud or louder than regular 357 so i understand the caution. i marked the box 357 only just in case
  25. 3000 for me been doing it since the 50s. the 2 engines that i had the top end off of with over 150k were almost clean enough to eat off. doing it myself is not that expensive so i will continue.
