there is an after market firing pin that basically stops the breakage. DO NOT trust the de-cocker. my son loves his been carrying it for about 5 years. when he practices with it a while his shots are awesome.

registration is not required in tn. if you bought it new i think the form you filled out will follow you forever. i was told the same thing 13 years ago. i actually tried to register cant be done in tn. if you are worried get a bill of sale and drive on.

i do not condone price gouging. i will say this though having been in business for almost 40 years. if one does not sell what he has on the shelf for enough to make a profit and restock those shelves one will not be there long. so if ones next order is known to be going up then one is justified in raising prices on what is on the shelf to compensate.

guess time will tell on the 7400. i just picked one up yesterday in 30-06. have thought i wanted an 06 for a long time. this one showed up it looks new with scope. win or lose i got it.
