I might have, with Gordon correct?

Two things come to mind with these stupid protests. 1.) This picture 2.) The quote in this video about Oakland (NWS) (I think it's around 30 seconds, good video though lol)

Hahaha thank you.

Good, I am now going to use the search button from now on.

probably a repost but a friend called me about it on Sunday. Pretty crazy. Vendor accidentally shoots himself in hand at Knoxville gun show | wbir.com

Yeah I just watched it for the first time, no wonder there were some FTE.

If you aren't left handed I don't see the point... both work great.
-
I also have a full size, great guns.
-
I only use those in numero dos situations.

It's dovetailed. Well I guess I need to start shopping around. I just want some nice ones where I can keep track of the sight picture.

I was really surprised about the Slide to Frame fit on this. Very right. I also like that it comes with the spur hammer, skeleton trigger, oversized beavertail, guide rod, and black barrel. It has all of the bells and whistles that I wanted. I also am glad that it is a series 70 (I think?, I noticed it did not have the round firing pin block like my other 1911). Any suggestions on holsters for this? I think I would prefer the OWB.

So I went to CCA on Friday with a friend of mine that has never shot. While he was in the other room reading through the rules I walked over to the counter (just to look of course) well this RIA 1911 3.5" caught my eye. I was really wanting to get a Gen4 G19 but this felt just too good in my hand. So I made an offer on it he said a different price and we settled in the middle. I am very happy with the purchase. We went ahead into the range and I came out about 20 minutes later to see if my background check passed. It did and I took it back and put some down the pipe. Zero issues which was really nice (My Remington R1 had a few FTF). This gun is a real sweet shooter (I hate to say this...) probably better than my R1. Both are great guns no doubt. My only complaint are the sights and it is a little bit harder to strip down. The sights blow (easy fix). There are no white dots on them or white U on the back sight. Very easy to lose the sight picture. Looks like I will be getting Novaks or Trijicon night sights. Here is the important part, the pictures: Also any input on which sights between the Novaks/Trijicons? I've shot with the Trijicon sights before, they seem pretty similar.

Thanks for sharing that video. I also found this on the painter's website: "Wake Up America" McNaughton Fine Art Also in the bottom right it shows his other political paintings. You can move your curser over the people to see his explanation really cool. Also in the "Wake Up America" look who is on the far left behind Obama. Kind of funny to me.

...ummm what? How is your truck still running? Do you never drive it? Or you haven't changed it since you've purchased it?

Wish I would of seen that the other day! I'd like to try it out sometime.

Woman Held Teen At Gunpoint After ‘Ring And Run’ Prank
ls3_kid replied to mcurrier's topic in General Chat
Yeah I did the ole ring and run (we have a different name for it) to one of my high school teachers. We were filming it to put it in the credits of our video project. I was the dumbass that said I'd sit in the bushes and hold the camera. Well her ex-husband came out with a shotgun (after my friend rang and ran) and put it in my face. I told him who I was, what I was doing, he went back inside yelling at his wife, I probably ran a 3.8 40 yard dash as soon as I had the chance. We were and still are good friends with the teacher, we figured her ex-husband wouldn't be home since we've been over there to watch MNF. The next day in class she told us that he came out with a handgun after we were gone and we watched the video in class. Pretty wild. However my lesson was learned. Just when we were all young we have the "it won't happen to me". God that has a bad taste coming out. -
I wonder what Obama is stepping on? Edit: I will probably get a print of this too lol

Who needs interchangeable back-straps when you have one like this?

I'll be purchasing this book!

See I thought it was real but then at the end it has an Ad on the store that says "LG world slimmest TV" and that's the TV he stole. I found it pretty clever.

Yeah like I said I have not done that much looking into this. Thanks for clearing that up.

I have looked (very little) at planting Black Walnut trees before due to how much you can get per acre for the lumber (or from what I hear you can get). You can have 436 black walnut trees per acre with 10x10 foot spacing and with 10x8 spacing you 545 trees per acre. I haven't found an average price per tree (as I would have no desire for the actual walnuts) but I have heard a good round number that an acre of Walnut trees can bring $1,000,000 bid. I was told this by a tobacco farmer outside of Nashville. If you plant let's say the 545 trees per acre (and you can actually get $1,000,000 for the trees) then that is $1800~ per tree. (with letting them grow for 40 years). Which would also equate to $25,000 per year over the course of the given time. Then you have to minus the cost of the acre, seeds/saplings, work, and watching after the trees. My biggest worry would be somebody stealing them. Like I said this is vaguely looking over/hearing information. I don't know how reliable this is but it seems, if true, a good investment/idea.

Here is my R1, base model. I love it, you can't go wrong with these.
