  1. Dick Morris still "loves" Bill Clinton, and detests Hillary with every fiber of his being.
  2. From the article: Here's a telling line: "The children were picked up by their MOTHERS, and DCS was notified, the report said." Children with multiple women, he's continuing his irresponsible habits.
  3. The doctor can ask. I probably won't answer. Depending on the attitude demonstrated, I might pick another doctor. Probably won't be a problem for me. My doctor is a former Army Flight Surgeon. And he hasn't asked. I also haven't asked him if he's packing -- he probably is.
  4. He felt he had problems bad enough to commit suicide. After his failed attempt, his problems are most assuredly more serious. It is a truism to say that suicide is not the answer; it's a permanent solution for temporary problems.
  5. The first time a drug crew opens up on the Texas naval craft, I imagine they'll light them up like a Christmas Tree. I'll want to see the video, and will eat popcorn with glee while watching it. Texas, it's a whole other country. . . .
  6. Have a second amendment friendly legislator file a bill requiring legislative bodyguards to disarm anywhere an HCP holder must disarm. It'd never pass, but legislators would be forced to vote against it. . . . and other activities along this line. And other agitations. . . .
  7. I don't mind taking care of the truly poor, the proverbial widows and orphans. There are however, too many strap-hangers and lay-abouts that make a mess of charity. I don't mind feeding the birds, but I draw the line at squirrels. There are all together too many squirrels in the birdfeeders . . . The big trick is how to keep the squirrels out of the birdfeeders.
  8. These are Texans, not Feds. Texans on the border, not the federal Border Patrol I imagine you know that . . .
  9. The Texas Rangers and the Texas Department of Public Safety fly armed helicopters -- they'll put a shooter with a .50 cal in them . . . along with M4s.
  10. Yes. It is a subtle pressure, but real enough.
  11. You forgot your /sarcasm tag! Or, please provide a source.
  12. Here's another link without a subscription requirement. There may be more reports out there at well, Faulk apparently made the comments in a public forum. http://advocacy.tennessee.edu/2012/06/28/sen-faulk-predicts-return-of-guns-in-parking-lots-bill/
  13. If they can do this one thing, they can do everything anti-gun. It's amazing what we let commerce get away with; if government did this there would be a revolution. Well, government DID do this and there was a Revolution, in the 1770's. Don't know about now.
  14. How cool is that!! How much of a chance is there of blowing yourself up or electrocuting yourself if you're not careful?
  15. Here's the policy: https://support.goog...en&answer=75724 Look for the category "Weapons" near the bottom.
  16. I just used google and the google "shopping" tab to search for "SR-556 Ruger" and got nothing, so I guess it's already taken place. That's pretty evil.
  17. No one is above the law, and that includes the judges who are making their own law in direct contravention of The Law as established by The People through Their Legislators. The judges who are trying this stunt need to be slapped down. They are not Kings.
  18. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense. Perhaps the family of the 11 year old ought to counter-sue for millions for economic terrorism, pain and suffering etc, etc, and put a chill on this thing. The women hit by the baseball was at a park designed for and used for baseball. If she didn't want to risk being hit by a baseball, she should not have been at a baseball park. She picked up risk just by being present. Trying to get the 11 year old's family to pay for her medical bills is reprehensible.
  19. Getting cleared out! Though there was room for the table-saw. Expecting to have the mother of all garage sales in the near future. Need the room for a to-be-built 16 ft. Redmond Whisp Sharpie Skiff.
  20. A 10-inch table-saw, dinner out, visit from San Antonio of my son and his wife, and assorted tools. And a card.
  21. And what happens with a FTF or a FTE in one barrel?

  23. Congratulations! Be proud, be very very proud. He is launched on his own life. Also, be very, very glad. He could have been still living in your basement!!
  24. The Remington 1858 New Model Army Black Powder Cap & Ball pistol is not considered a firearm by the ATF. The .45 Colt centerfire conversion cylinder for the 1858 NMA is also not considered a firearm by the ATF. However, IF the .45 Colt conversion cylinder is "installed" in the 1858 NMA, THEN it is considered a firearm by the ATF. Go figure.
  25. I've really liked my Pietta 1858 Remington New Model Army. Then, I purchased a .45 Colt conversion cylinder for it, and now I REALLY REALLY like it. It handles well and barks with authority. You really feel like you're shooting something. And now, it's a lot less trouble to clean up after. Cabela's has a really solid Civil War styled flapped holster & belt for it, in Confederate Brown or Union Black. I got one of each. If you're a righty, you wear the holster butt-forward on your left.
