We're off to a good start.   Sooooo, Blum is kinda like Mitt Romney, but more ruthless and more successful? It's a damn shame that Mitt's wife wasn't a U.S. Senator. . . .
  10. Check and see if Feinstein is married, I think she is, and I think her husband does "other stuff". I also think they don't use the same last name, so many power couples do that so one of them can stay on the downlow.   Find out what the "other stuff" her husband does, and whether or not he has an advantage 'cause his wife's a Senator (duh!!) and figure a way to screw with his business, by outing him, or boycotting him, or whatever else can legally be done.   I could probably do a lot of this with a couple of google searches, but there are 'grasshoppers' here that need the wax-on/wax-off training.

Welcome to TGO from Smyrna, Tennessee!   Spent the last five years of my Air Force career in San Antonio, and the Texans always treated me real nice when they found out I was from Tennessee.   I'd laugh and say, "Ya'll are being nice to me 'cause there were 30 Tennesseans at the Alamo!"   And they'd get a real serious look on their faces, and say: "Yep".   And we'd have a beer.   Texans have never forgotten who their friends are. Good bunch.

Well, actually, EVERY Marine is the wrong Marine for a burglar to mess with!   From the article:   In the official report from the Spokane County Sheriff's Office, [Marine Corporal] Pohle was said to have "escorted [burglar] Schwanke to the ground."   and:   Having just finished a seven-month combat tour in Afghanistan, Pohle said that his training just kicked in the second he saw the threat in his family's home.   17.   Some of them might even be from Health and Human Services or Homeland Defense or the alphabets baiting the crazies or lookiing for low hanging fruit. It would be like LEO's joining a Green forum to find the Marijuana growers. It would be something that we might do if it were our gig.
  18.   This times about a million.   Doing a million man march with weapons would be a TRAP and it'd be about the dumbest thing you could do, and would fall right into the evil plans of The Obammunist and his minions. You'd be like deer spotlighted in a corn field or something. Someone else could draw an even better hunting picture, I'm sure.   Furthermore . . . there is a lot of political stuff that's gotta be done and on the face of it doesn't make sense. It's POLITICS. There's people out there that have been studying it their whole grown lives and as wicked and evil as they are, they are damned good at POLITICS. People that don't know the territory, and the players and the adversaries and the TRAPS can really damage their cause by doing stuff that doesn't SEEM stupid to them, but has them fall into a TRAP set by the other side.   It's kind of like when you buy a type of weapon that you've never used before and instead of reading the instruction manual to work the action or instead of getting trained by someone who knows how to work the action, you end up shooting yourself in the forehead and you're dead.   For State stuff, listen to what WorriedMan and others have to say, they've been around the block and know how to "work the action." They know the territory, they know the players, they know the adversaries, and they know where the TRAPS are.   The NRA isn't everyone's favorite Uncle because they have to do stuff in POLITICS that doesn't make sense to the folks that don't do it for a living. However, the NRA has a pretty good record in drawing the adversary into the POLITICAL field of fire.   I'm mixing my metaphors up a little bit, but I'm thinking you can see where I'm coming from. I too want to do something, but it's gotta be smart politics, not dumb politics.

  22.   I agree. This is a stretch. There are people who WISH they could pull this off, but to pull this off would require so many people that it would be impossible to hide it. That does not mean that there is not any stupid crap going on that needs to be watched.   One sign for me would be too many of those TSA morons wandering around loose away from airports.
  23.   For a while in the service, I had . . . considerable power . . . over other men. I made it a personal policy to never joke with them on an issue for which they could not reciprocate, especially cavalier statements that touched upon our differences in rank or personal power. It's wicked and demeaning. President Obama, weak and inadequate that he may be, has power over others and should never joke about it. It shows a real weakness of character.   No one thinks it's funny when the God-Emperor shouts "Off with his Head!!" because you never know for sure whether or not he means it.
