Finally broke down and just got a iMac 27" this evening. It will be the last computer we buy for some time. Hey Mcurrier, was I supposed to get a disk and some sort of book in the box? It was an open box from Bestbuy so not sure if I should be concerned. I already hate the keyboard. Its gonna have to go!

Most the CL posting that are reasonable they are running snow leapard with additional option ($$) to run update to Lion. I have all my files for both music and images on an external HD so I dont need one with TB. I just chose I5 from running searches and seeing what others out there wish they would have gotten or currently have. Any other words of wisdom for me?

I have always ran corel or PS from a windows based machine for use with plotters and graphic designs for vector use for vinyl plotter. My laptop is on its very last leg and thinking about a MAC. But cant afford a new and looking at used Imacs and some macbooks. I think I want atleast an I5 but not sure on what software that would best suit my needs. I also do alot of music storage as well as graphic image storage. Can anyone help me figure out what I really need? Beyond the above metioned I only will be using to surf.

We dont use the BassPro off ramp. We go down the back side by Opry Land down to the last light make a left and then park behind the Lee's store and there is NO posting on the parking lot or the Lee's Entrance.

As I recall the gentleman that advised and assisted with this build, I think his last name was Jones, or Something very very common like that. And it does have a stock, just not pictured. I had to ad the finishing touch by adding an AR stock to it!

I have been using that stuff for many years now as sound damping on car restorations in places that I can not get dynamat into. They also sell plastidip in gallon cans to use for things like dipping tool handles and other industrial uses. Works best if use a scotchbrite pad and scuff up the surface. On exterior items if not prepped well you end up being able to peel it off like a rubber glove. They do sell in other colors also. And have many uses.

Does my Saiga 12 count?

Wife and I made our way to the Opry Mall last night and as packed as it was there was plenty of officers on hand. BUT! I was very pleased to see that both PD and Mall Security were stopping those with saggy pants and asking them to PULL THEM UP OR LEAVE! We saw this not once but 3 time while walking around. Of course the persons they stopped gave the "mans holding me down" speech and as they passed us had some choice words for the officers but you could still see that they understood that PD was not going to take ANY crap and that the mall security has plans to keep this mall a family place where they can feel safe at unlike Rivergate, coolsprings, and I really wanted to tell those kids and few adults to just go back to Hickory Hollow!

ok thanks. Its going to be mounted on my Saiga 12 so the length of this buffer tube is not so important for function of buffer and spring. But, I am going to try to sell this one as I just found the short on for sale. If not then I will contact him. -
I am looking for some one in Nashville to help me out. I need a Buffer tube on a ACE socom stock cut down and re threaded. Its just took long. I have been looking for a shorter tube replacement but no luck. If you have the ability to do this please let me know how much.. Or will need to trade someone for there standard length socom for my long version socom stock.

I had the urge to stop at a few places yesterday and stumbled across a Colt 1911 and by the serial # according to this site http://www.coolgunsite.com/pistols/colt%20production.htm it was made in 1912. Had a little pitting on the slide but by all research was complete and correct and in overall in good condition. He was about $300 over what I wanted to pay but I might still go back and nego some more see if I cant pick it up. Anyone else have one of this age that still shoots it?

Have had the animal for 3 yrs with 3 dogs and daily use! NO ISSUES! But, now thats not to say there are not lemons to be had!

My thoughts are that anything other than a over priced KSG is a good thing!

I was not lucky enough to have a family that hunted or collected so nothing was ever passed down to me. What is that one special one that you got or what do you want to pass down. Firearms are always an investment as with any hobby but I feel they can be well worth it..Nothing like recoil therapy!

Thats cool. But just not as cool as this thing.. http://www.cbrps.com/Products.html

I was pass the MCD on Rivergate about 9p one night and there was a "flashmob" of younger kids (under 18) from what I can tell running across from the MCD. I swear there was about 50 kids and traffic had to stop just to avoid hitting someone. AND OF COURSE Rivergate mall has a NO GUN posting so we just take and spend our money at the Sears in the Boro.

Thanks for checking... I guess if it doesnt get fixed that just means I will have to BUY MORE GUNS!

Any status on this issue yet? Thanks for all your hard work its just kind of frustrating for some of us that have worked so hard to maintain and buy and sell with integrity so now show that we have no transactions. Thanks

I have been dealing with SnapOn off and on over the years and once had a box(a very big box) that had issues and it was like giving blood to get them to even take care of the issue and I had to pay shipping for the repair parts! I recently picked up a used MAC tool tech series box and that the drawer pulls(handle covers) were once made of plastic that was chrome covered and now peeling and chipping and just made the box ugly (thats why I got a great deal on it!) I wanted to just purchase replacement new ones and was ready to pay. Then to my surprise after only 2 emails. One being the 1st to inquire about it and the 2nd a reply with my info. The replacement NEW updated stainless drawer pulls showed up via UPS in less than 4 days! NO CHARGE! I didnt have to take pics of the old ones or give them serial #'s and write a book about what I needed! Good job MAC Tools for giving me one of the best customer service experience that I have had with a big name tool company!
