I am in need of getting a few windows tinted and was looking to see if there was a member here that owned a shop or worked for one that I would be glad to give my business to?

Well we went yesterday as planned spent about 5hrs there and got the FAL sold! Got what I wanted and got to hang with Dont-tread-on-me for a short time.. All in all it was worth the parking and entry fee for us but I understand that its not always everyones cup of tea!

I agree and this is not one of my fav's to go to by far! But with schedule and location this is the easiest one for me to get to. But lets hope its a decent turn out! And a good reason for some of the other members to meet at once central location with out planing an event..

I am going to show up with like 3 cameras around my neck just to hack the old hag off! Not really but its a inside LOL from the last show that a few of us attended! I really would like to save my $ but I have not a dam thing to do in the morning so why not meet up with some fellow TGOers and chat for a bit. Ok, for those of you who do not know the story. The old lady at the front gave my wife a hard time and felt the need to SEARCH her purse to check for a camera. Which I felt there was some rights being violated but my wife let her do so and then was very nice and let the lady know that 99% of those walking around with cell phones had cameras and there was not much that she was doing about those people like searching the mens pockets!

So whos going and what are you taking? I was thinking of wasting the money just to have something to do and to see what other individuals are taking. If I go I am taking the FAL even though I know there is a very slim chance anyone there will have the $$ to throw at it!

They did a very nice job on this one! I know its not every ones taste but it sure is sweet to me! Its on ebay with a buy now for like $35K too bad we are broke!

I know this shouldnt have to be mentioned but here is goes. I challange all my fellow gun gun owners to set the bar to a higher standard. We get enough crap from the media. We dont need any more! I challange for all who chose to booze it up tonight (any night) to please please please PUT YOUR FIREARMS UP and use common sense and gun saftey rules! Lets not give them any more ammo to try and take away our rights. Also Drinking and Driving dangers are going to be out there. Lets all be safe if your drinking or not! If you drink then give up your keys to some one who is not. If your not drinking pay a little more attention to the flow of traffic and your surroundings on the street. Lets all be safe this weekend and Have a Happy and Safe start to this New Year!

Thanks TMF. This was just part of a trade deal. I didnt intend on going out looking for one. It just found me. So he says he will call me today so maybe or maybe not. Either way I do not think that I would go out looking for one. But I would have liked to learn a new weapon should it go thru but didnt want to get caught with something that was going to be more trouble than worth.

Well, I wish I could tell one way or the other. I never got with him today and do not know if he backed out or if someone offered him a better deal. Thanks for all the input and advise.

My daily carry is a s&w 625-10 which is a 2" snub .45 acp and was just looking for the same caliber to add to my rotation for daily carry. I just am not sure of the quality of a gun that cost $1100 and so many complain but then so many give it the thumbs up. I do not see how one company could have so much varied quality control. I am not much on the 1911' s even though some will say they will live and die by one, but I thought that it might be a good time to learn the ins and outs of one just not sure if I want to risk $750 worth on one with a so so reputation unless someone here has a solid experience of owning one with or with out issues.

Thanks for the input. I am a wheel gunner all the way. But have had plenty of semi's that take down very easy.. HMMMMMM just dont know. I have how ever handled and have fired a Para Warthog and like it for its size but have not carried one.

I am considering a trade deal for a Kimber ultra shadow Le II. I know nothing about them because I have never been into 1911's I have read both horror stories and HIGH praise for them. I will be into it around $750.00 so dont want to lose my tail if they are expensive junk! This is not a debate on what condition the trade is in becuase I wont see it till tomorrow. Its just a general question to those that own them.

Santa brought me RotoRooter at 9PM last night when our down stairs bathroom flooded with about 1-2" of backed up ick! All the up stairs worked and drained, we just didnt know it was draining on the down stairs bathroom floor!

I was looking at one with the fancy crimson trace "wood" grips and thought that looked real nice. In your opion would you ever add the CT for better accuracy?
