I looked but did not see any round counts, type of ammunition required for rifle and pistol. I did see what was necessary for shotgun though. I would love to do one of these but I have never been to one and may want to come watch, is that acceptable?

+1 on the novels in the Deep Winter series. they are pretty good. Fairly quick reads too.
Cody Lundin's books 98.6 Degrees: The Art of Keeping Your Ass Alive and When All Hell Breaks Loose are both some of the best I have read. They are very blunt an even somewhat entertaining, with simple information that do not require you to be a chemist to figure out. Between them and the SAS manual, they are the first go to books to me.

Being from out of state, I have been really wanting to find some place to camp and hike, an this thread gave me a great start. Thanks!

Dang I have always wanted to do that but have not had the chance, and have plans for tomorrow. Now that I know it's there I may do it sometime though! What is the cost, other than ammunition?

Howdy all, I am from WV but am working down here for the time being and thought I would say howdy and see what I can contribute, if anything. I read allot on a dew forums but don't leave much clutter behind.
Anyway, howdy!

Secure holster? My galco leather holster will not work? Or do you mean one that secures the weapon from getting away?...
I have not shot in awhile but I would love to shoot on something a little different than a square range, where I have to think some.
