TR24g Accupoint 1-4x Initial Impression
scoutfsu replied to cch2a's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I really like the TR series. I just wish they had different reticles. They could use their ACOG reticles and I think it would be much more improved. A horseshoe dot would be awesome for this optic. I've had a couple of these optics. I loved them but couldn't really get into the triangle. -
Trust Regulation Change Update
scoutfsu replied to midtennchip's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Roger. So "06/00" equals "whenever we feel like enacting this bs in June?" I've never seen the "00" used before. Is that common? -
I wouldn't touch one based on what I've read. I'd look into this - http://www.tnarmsco.com/ I've been following it on another forum and it appears to be very promising. The owner has a lot invested, is knowledgeable, and is working hard to learn and improve on his product.

Trust Regulation Change Update

That date has been there quite a while.....besides not being a real date - no "00" in June  . -
Haha, thanks threeeighty but I didn't do anything exciting with this knife other than cut 550 cord, MRE's, etc with this knife. I wasn't stabbing Muhj in the face or anything. ZT makes a solid, utilitarian knife that holds up under sustained use. It is a great value for the price, especially with the blemished discount. I also have no fear that if I did destroy this knife that ZT would take care of me rather than writing me off. They don't warranty their blemished knives but I would wager that they'd take care of them for a service fee. I'm more than comfortable paying that (imagined/supposed) fee considering the discount I paid. Solid knives made to be used IMO.

That's where I got my 0350 from. Used it all deployment and I'm a big fan of it. I got rid of my Striders after picking this up.

You can regularly find new Sordins on ebay for $150. It is a fantastic value.

I get it. Especially after sitting through the VA briefing at Ft Dix today....I think they aggravated my tinnitus. :slap:

Mind letting me in on the joke?

The thread in which an Army Lt. Col pisses us all off.
scoutfsu replied to Chucktshoes's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Sounds like a typical O5. -
I wear SureFire plugs loosely in my ears with either Peltor CommTac II's or MSA Sordins over them. It's the only way to go IMO. You don't get that hearing back. Jealously guard it.
-
I believe you're mistaken on this one. You can go shorter or longer at your discretion.

Wow, this thread escalated quickly. It's a fucking game guys. A game. There are far more important things to get wound up over. Like people who think it's wrong to speed but think it's ok to brake check

It sucks...to be...a Flooooorida Gator, it sucks...to be... Great season for our Noles. Glad to see the UF score.

I'm not sure he was the only jerk on the road. You were more than complicit with your actions.

GLOCK rear sight tool in Memphis?
scoutfsu replied to Kopis's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Chris, if you can wait until mid DEC, I will be home from Afghanistan and I can help you out. If I were you, I'd keep an eye out for a used MGW or similar tool. I've seen them selling for $60ish+ on various forums when they come up. I never thought I'd use mine as much as I have. It is a good investment. -
Wonder how this would've turned out if the guy had a SureFire on his pistol or in his other hand.

NFA wait time 9-19-13

The day that happens, is the day I drop 10 F1/4's.... -
I learned my lesson with .45 ammo costs and dropped the platform a while back. I hope you get your pistol problem resolved.
-
Fair enough. I've never heard of them before this offer went out. I looked at it and considered it a warning. I don't think you can get a cheap, well made 1911. Then again my only experience with the platform was an old Para and a TRP. My snap judgment would be "you pay for what you get."
-
What did you expect for a no name 1911 that retails b/w $4-600?

DHS raiding store for counterfeit Coach bags? DHS? Really?
scoutfsu replied to TerryW's topic in General Chat
Terry, I don't even know what a flame baiter is....but I do recognize troll threads when I see them. Next time, if you're going to cry and moan against the DHS-devil, try to have some sort of verifiable facts. Ridiculous conjecture only makes you less credible and a source of sad amusement. You have yourself a good one. -
DHS raiding store for counterfeit Coach bags? DHS? Really?
scoutfsu replied to TerryW's topic in General Chat
I'll show you post number one where you bash on DHS for going after counterfeiters. As was stated by multiple people, a lot of organizations fall under the DHS umbrella. It's their job to go after people doing things like this. That or the point of this thread was to sow discontent because: and You're just blatantly making things up so you can show the world/TGO how much you despise DHS and the Government because you "don't trust them as far as (you) can throw them."
