You're mad (which is understandable) but you seem to be mad at everyone but the one person you should be angriest with.  You.  IMO what you posted and did shows a lack of character and morals....but thats just my opinion.  You even made it seem like your employer was OK with what you were doing.  I guess they weren't.  Hopefully the splash back doesn't fall on your manager who was holding items in good faith for his employees and everyone else that was benefiting.  I imagine their free rides are over too.   It sucks that you were fired, especially in this crappy economy.  I sincerely hope you find a new job quickly.  I also hope you don't continue to do what you've been doing.  But I guess that's up to you.

That sucks that someone went that far......but what did you think was going to happen when you started posting the things you did?  I guess your job did have a problem with what you were doing after all..... TMF even alluded that his old employer would fire people for the things you were doing.  That was a warning shot that should have been heeded.   As big as the internet can be....it can also be small.  Everything you post can and will, at times, have repercussions.

    That is exactly the use I/we put them through and ours didn't make it.  Breakage wasn't 100% but it was a significant amount.  It is also a well known issue with the HK mags.

$850 isn't too shabby.

  No, not worth the price.  Heavy and unreliable IMO.  Easily damaged and good luck getting any replacement parts.  I would stick with reputable mags like USGI, MagPul, TD, etc.

Yea the prices suck unless you can randomly find them online in equipment exchanges/WTS areas.  You're already going to have to buy another barrel......it might work out cheaper to buy another and sell this one.  That or trade it for someone with a stock 17.

SureFire worn loosely in the ears and then either MSA Sordins or Peltor Comtacs.  The perfect combination.  Jealously guard your hearing, its something that you never get back once lost.  It took me a couple firefights in houses and ambushes to figure it out.  Ultimately, paying that higher price for good ear pro is an excellent investment.  You can get Sordins for $150-185ish....worth every penny and then some.  And thats cheaper than they've ever been before.

I've read 30k-ish.  That's what the old rep, Bob I believe his name is - the one who knew what he was about - told me.....I've also read that too.  I'm obviously no where near that but I've got thousands through mine.  Don't believe the FNForum hype about Pmags breaking SCARs either.  It's become a pet peeve of mine.  Supposition turned into fact somehow.   I mostly want a second barrel for an SBR.  One of the advantages about the SCAR is the QC barrel....but it's no good if A) there's no barrels and 2) if they're 2/3 the price of another rifle.   You tell me I have to pay $1100+ for a barrel, I'll just save the extra couple hundred to buy a whole other rifle.  One of the great things about my MRP, available barrels.
