  1. I can't see them changing the no background checks for ftf sales in Tennessee. But I can see them making it illegal for ftf sales at Gun shows. All you would have to do is go off property to make your transaction.
  2. My ex has that and from what I can tell seems to be pretty good. You can keep your old number and $50. a month for unlimited everything. If I wasn't an add on family member, I definately would do it.
  3. I liked the last quote, "She was a good person". LOL Lets see, she stole a car from Florida, stabbed a police officer and stole his car.
  4. Checking resistance has nothing to do voltage or amperage.
  5. Remember when you're testing ohmage, you have no power applied. You are only testing the resistance in a wire. Less resistance means lower ohmage. Resistance will decrease by windings rusting and decreasing in diameter, or windings shorting out causing it to bypass part of the winding therefore less wires to flow through therefore less resistance.
  6. I've seen a wide range of ohm readings on injectors. From 1 to 40. They do wear out from use and time. You measure the ohmage on the injector itself. Not the wires going to it. I'm pretty positive my ohmeter is working correctly.
  7. Mines 4 cylinder with chains.
  8. 99 Nissan Frontier with 136000. No problems at all with it, just thought I'd do a little preventative maintenance before one gets bad.

  10. Hey all you back yard mechanics. The specs for ohming my fuel injectors are 10 - 14 ohms. Mine are reading between 8.3 and 8.9 but still runs good. What is low enough to change them? I'm gonna change them anyway. Just asking.
  11. I assume your kidding. I shipped just parts from UPS on Robert Jackson in Maryville. Not sure their policy on a whole gun though. BTW, there is a UPS Store in Midlands shopping center in Maryville that would not ship the same parts.
  12. These are going for a pretty good price at Gander Mountain. Anybody know anything about them?
  13. Man sues over arrest for honking at officer CHATTANOOGA — A man arrested after tooting his horn at a Chattanooga police officer has filed a nearly $2 million federal lawsuit, claiming false arrest. The lawsuit by 61-yearold Larry Ballanger states he was stopped in April 2010 behind Officer Cristina Henderson at a traffic signal when the light turned green and Henderson didn’t move. The complaint stated Ballenger “tooted his horn†to get the officer’s attention because she continued to look down at the passenger seat, according to the Chattanooga Times Free Press. Ballenger was cited for violating the noise ordinance and obstructing traffic. When he wouldn’t sign the citation, he says Henderson arrested him for disorderly conduct and took him to jail. The citations against Ballenger were dismissed in January. "Violating noise ordinance?" Really?? Just because she got her pride hurt, she has to use an ordinance that was not it's intended purpose sounds like to me.
  14. Yes, I seen that slide on Numrich for that amount, but I found another at Bob's Gun Parts for $25.00 Still trying to decide if I want to spend any more on it or not.
  15. Saw the "Samaia" at Dollywood last weekend. It was outstanding. Wonder Works beside the Titanic is really nice too.
  16. OK now that I've had a little more time to mess with it I figured out how to take it down. Bad news though. Part of the slide that guides the firing pin is broke.
  17. I saw this video and it's a different model. Mine doesn't have the button he pressed. Plus mine was made of German parts and is called a ROHM RG-25 I did find a detailed diagram of parts. In the detailed list it did specify a "Takedown tool" but no number on it.
  18. Yea, I know it's a pos, but can anyone tell me how to break it down? This is not the original but identical.
  19. I've owned and carried both. Currently have the xd-40. It's apples and oranges. Go with what fits you best. They are both top brand guns and can't go wrong with either. My reason for switching was I had the extensions on the G27 so might as well go to a full size. I'm not much interested in lasers and such so not a problem with me about rails. The XD just seemed a little smoothing shooting to me. I feel if you stay with the G27, get the extensions.
  20. BTW, I wasn't too cordial with him after he took my rounds. I'm surprised he let me in. His name was Officer Chicorone.
  21. No, I just handed him the gun. He asked to see the magazine.
  22. You got off lucky then. I went to the last one at the Expo, and swore I read all the rules on the door, but I guess I missed one about loaded mags. He proceeded to unload the rounds in a box and handed me back my mag. Didn't give me the option of taking them back to the truck. Good thing he didn't ask to see my second and third mag that was also loaded.
  23. I've been playing banjo for about 35 years. I can play a guitar, upright and electric bass. My best advice is for you to find a regular jam session and sit in.
  24. Kennesaw, Georgia --(Ammoland.com)- As many of you know, a number of pieces of firearms legislation were hurried through the Georgia State Senate over the last few days. A last-second gun related amendment was added to a Senate bill yesterday that would grant “all persons holding elected state or local offices†the ability to carry a firearm WITHOUT a Georgia Weapons License. The equivalent of Constitutional Carry. Elected Republicans passed Constitutional Carry for themselves! Apparently it’s politics as usual down at the State Capitol in Atlanta. What makes an elected official more deserving of a Constitutional right than you and I? Contact your State Senators today – especially the Republicans – tell them that you don’t appreciate being considered a “second-class gun ownerâ€: State Senate contact info — Click HERE.
