  1. It is the last one for Roy's . I'm pretty sure everything in the store has to go. Old Timers Day is just a bunch of pickers that get together to jam, mostly at the Welcome Center in Townsend. Bluegrass, old time, country, whatever you want to play. Lots of picking in the campgrounds also. Timbers is still open.
  2. How many here has heard of "Roy's Record Shop" in Maryville?? He's having his final going out of business AUCTION this Saturday at 9:30AM. Also, is anyone here going to Old Timers Day in Townsend this Saturday?
  3. I carry the mp9c iwb with a Don Hume holster with no problems. I'm also interested in the mtac but haven't had the opportunity to try one yet. I'm 5'8" and 175 lbs.
  4. I first seen Mckee about six months ago and was blown away. Anyone seen Tommy Emmanuel?? [ame= ] [/ame]Back to the original topic of this list, I also have the ultimate Dueling Banjos by the Kruger Brothers in mp3 only. If anyone would like me to email it to them let me know. You won't be disappointed.
  5. I'm just below Knoxville. A few years ago, I used to play with Wild Blue Yonder. They were kinda popular with the Possum Song they played on Knoxville radio stations before I started with them. Now I just play with a couple of bands locally, and fill in with other bands from time to time, not really regular.
  6. Some of you'ns have seen this but this is me playing banjo. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bg9in-3OCJk]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bg9in-3OCJk[/ame]
  7. :woohoo:ORDER OF PROTECTION """DISMISSED"":woohoo: We went to court today and the OP was dismissed. My lawyer told me that as long as its been dismissed, I won't have anything to worry about with my HCP. I'm sure he knows what he's talking about because when I was in his office, I saw a can of gun cleaner in one of his cabinets. Now maybe this weekend I can make my Wal-Mart initiation. I have to go by there anyway to get one of my boys glasses picked up. And for anyone wondering about what happens next, we are getting a divorce. So far it looks like it will be uncontested as we still are getting along fairly decent and are able to split household and finances up. We're still not agreed on child support/alimony yet, but thats something we'll work out that I won't bore you all with. I appreciate everybodies support and advice this past couple of weeks and also allowing me to vent my frustrations on here.
  8. Sounds like you got some confidence now to get in there and work. Don't forget to change the stale air in your tires too.
  9. Yes, that's how I do it. Make sure you jack it up before you spin it, unless you're the hulk.
  10. Whats the difference between a vacuum cleaner and a motorcycle??? A vacuum cleaner has a dirtbag inside it. A motorcycle has one on it. Come on guys, just a joke.
  11. I appreciate you guys interest. The big turning point will be this coming Thursday when we go back to court. I'm gonna try and have a meeting with my lawyer Monday.
  12. Tungsten, I respectfully disagree with you on this. She doesn't have and can't afford an attorney for the OP and cannot be granted one from the court. She is pretty nieve (SP?) and emotional when it comes to a lot of things and I calmly explained to her the consequences of what she's done by filing the OP. Which, I suspect, is something they didn't tell her when she filed. She is the one that let her emotions get away from her for doing that, not me. This isn't my first divorce either. I do realize I have to tread softly. Dang Tungsten, I actually agree with you on the rest. We've worked out a lot since we've been able to make contact and the divorce hasn't even been filed yet. She's got a place to stay, visitations with the boys are good, some bills straightened out, some household items split up between us. So far the only thing we'll have to go through court for is what the child support payments will be.
  13. Yes, I've been served and it specifically says "No guns, No ammo". I told her tonight again about the seriousness of what she did. She totally agreed to drop it the next court date no matter what she has to do, even to claim she overreacted and none of the stuff on there was true. Which it wasn't to begin with.
  14. It specifically says in the order "No guns, No Ammo". No I haven't recieved anything from DOS.
  15. Just follow this link, it tells it all. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10848
  16. We already had one court date. They messed up and set it too early after I was served and I had it rescheduled to get time to get a lawyer. But during that date she had the judge change it where I get the boys on the weekends or anytime we agree on. And we can contact each other over this. It is an exparte OP. Like I said, we really are getting along great and I know she'll work with me to get this OP out of the way. I'm worried about what's gonna happen with it being on my record for future jobs or loans or anything else like that, and my HCP.
  17. Got mine the other day. It took 47 days. Still can't carry, but thats another story.
  18. Bittersweet moment. I did get my HCP today. About a week after being served the Order of Protection. It only took 47 Days to get the HCP but I'm sure me calling them expedited it some. Luckily so far, she's changed her mind and am letting me have the boys on weekends. I can call her. We've worked out a lot on the coming divorce. She's promised to drop the order at our next court date. Like Seaslug- we're really a big threat now huh?? You said it right. It's like we're guilty untill proven innocent. I'm hoping it turns out like Seaslug and I never hear from them wanting it back. Sounds like Seaslugs was a little messy. We actually are getting along really good.
  19. I'm hoping that since it's not "official" yet and she's gonna drop it the next court date, that nothing will happen with it. After a little research I found that "IF" I do get it revoked, I will have to file a petition against the state and go to court to state my case. Then TDOS decides what to do. I've got the lawyer thing covered. Just not talked to him about this yet as it's still in the early stages.
  20. I'm supposed to get my HCP anyday now according to the lady I talked to in Nashville. Now the bad part. My wife filed an Order of Protection against me a few days ago. I was gonna fight it tooth and nails because of totally baseless claims, but she told me the other night that on the next court date this month that she was gonna drop it and I know she will. As of now, no guns, no ammo. So what's gonna happen to me now? Will I get a call to return my HCP? After the order is dropped, will they still want it back? Will I have to go through a review process?
  21. I always adjust with the tires on and give it a good spin and when it stops after about one turn it's good. Then like saintsfanbrian said, going in reverse and breaking hard adjusts them automatically.
  22. I've been playing banjo for over 30 years. I just played two gigs today as a matter of fact. I love to take the boys camping. I tinker with cars sometimes as me being an old ASE certified mechanic from years ago. And of course Tennessee football.
  23. Just a small suggestiuon is putting the S&W logo right side up.
  24. Would this fall under "39-11-614. Protection of property. " i.e. money in this case??
  25. I remember reading here somewhere where someone was looking for this. Here's a set on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190240976605
