  1. Maybe not the "manly" thing to do, but a simple...."Woah dude, sorry about that!".....would have probably diffused the situation and you wouldn't have gave it another thought.  You were backing out with your car.  Had you hit him, even if he walked into you, you are at fault. (Pedestrians on foot always have the right of way).  I have always took the stance that when armed, it is my job to do everything I can to diffuse ANY situation I am involved in.  I am not 16 any more so I don't see the need to prove my worth with my fists then have to pay for being stupid.  Staying cool in the face of adversity is something I strive for, and if a situation does escalate to where my life or my loved ones around me are in danger, at that point am I to reach for my firearm.  Glad you got out of there.
  2. Just got mine renewed about a week ago.  I submitted the renewal application on 6-18-2015 so it took about a month.
  3. Is this judge a voted position? Just curious if politics weather to acquit will come into play? sent from Tim's Tweaked Out Evo

Good minds think alike Mike. Yea I sold the G36, but loved that gun! I just didn't shoot it that much. I will definitely get another G36 some day. I really like the AC amigo. I almost bought one very similar, but opted for the commander model since every gun I had seemed to be small. I love shooting it.

American Classic Commander....No doubt a sweet piece of hardware at a great price. No problems with mine either.
  6. Here are a couple videos of some of my 2012 Hunts. I got to go home to Mississippi and hunt this year so the first video is of my cousins bird. The 2nd video is of my 11 year old daughter and her bird. Mississippi Hunt: Leah's Hunt: The 2nd shot was me trying to pull off the double during the chaos, I missed cleanly!!! I hope you enjoy. Tim
  7. The Armory in Lebanon TN had one the other week for $529....they may still have it.
  8. I agree, Dave's prescription is not a bad one. It's pretty simple, spend less than you make, put money into long term savings plans, and carry Term insurance to protect you while you are self insuring. The problem is that 90% of the people that walk into my office, and quote the Ramsey plan, only "hear" the buy term part. When I ask them what mutual funds they are investing in, they can't provide an answer. My job as an insurance agent is to provide protection as long as the client thinks he or she needs it. I don't push one product over the other. I give options to a need and let the client decide on the option that best suits their need. Sorry to get off OP topic....I would suggest talking to a reputable insurance professional in your area to find the solution that is just right for you.
  9. Dolomite, I am an insurance agent in the Nashville area. Perhaps I can give you some direction. I would suggest getting your own policy to cover the mortgage that is NOT associated with the mortgage itself. Reason...in case you ever refi again...you have a policy in place that cannot be cancelled. In other words, you control what happens with the policy rather than the mortgage company. As far as what product to buy, that will be based off what you want it to do. The problem with Dave Ramsey's prescription of "buy all term" is that does not fit the need of 100% of everyone. I'm sure he doesn't suggest that everyone buy the same mutual fund so why would it be prudent for everyone to buy just term insurance. It all depends on your need for the product. Based on what you are telling me, I would probably go the Term route if the only reason you need the insurance is for mortgage protection. You should be able to find a term (10 yr, 20 yr, 30 yr level term) that will be close to the amount of time of the loan and this would be your cheapest route to go. If you are wanting some life insurance to be in place when you die (which may be 85), your only guarantee is to buy as much Permanent (whole life, universal life) as you can afford. I hope this helps the insanity! Tim
  10. I like me some Metro Arms. Looks Great!
  11. It's difficult to walk into D&T Arms and leave with money in your pocket.....Leaving with a gun is much easier. Metro Arms American Classic Commander
  12. Go with the Glock 36. To me, it's one of the best carry .45's around. I too have the G26. The G36 fits all the same holsters I have so you will not have to purchase additional holsters and you are already used to the glock trigger.
  13. I definitely must have a thing for model "36" firearms. The difference mike is that I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with that S&W. LOL ....and I just knew sub-consciencely that you needed it. I did see a model 36 S&W a while back that look like it was brand new condition, but from the early 80's. Some older guy was trading it in on something and it looked like it had never been out of the box.
  14. My G36 is my EDC. I love the size and how it shoots. What more can you ask for?
  15. Great movie...I got this big lump in my throat that cut off the oxygen to my brain causing water to rush out of my eyes...I hate when that happens. Sent from my tweaked out EVO.
