  1. To my understanding, you are not carrying at this point but transporting. You should be safe. For the gun anyway.
  2. I am sure the expiring primers are urban legend. If not just reload.
  3. This is a real tragedy for the state when it comes to HCP holders rights.
  4. Damage is damage. I am also a big fan of big and slow. I am getting too old for the punishment. That is why I am thinking of going to an AR.

    The next gun...

I agree with try it out before you make a decision. If you can't find a rental of what you are looking for, try to find a friend that will let you shoot his. I carry an xd40 service model and if you are concidering moving from 9mm to .40 s&w you really need to shoot several models. the .40 is quite a bit snappier than the 9mm.
  6. opencarry.org is another good source.
  7. Buck 119 cuts nothing but meat.
  8. Thanks....I am a very experienced gun owners so will try very hard not to blow anything up. I have never done anything in .223 / 5.56. I have more experience with the bigger calibers and was always curious about the difference in the two. Everything I own is lever action or bolt action and I am looking to expand into something more fun to shoot.
  9. Thanks. I am looking to expand to an ar but haven't decided what type.
  10. Priced at$944
  11. The ar they had was stampedy
  12. Just went down to Milan walmart and they also have the bushnell ar. I am new to the ar world. Are .223 and 5.56 interchangeable. A friend in the TN Guard told me a 5.56 receiver would shoot .223 and a .223 receiver wouldn't take 5.56. Is this true.
  13. Unloaded in car is the only legal way to carry on school property, according to my carry permit class.
  14. Wouldn't the Sherman anti trust act prevent the from buying up all US arms manufacturers.
  15. Welcome from Milan just north of jax
  16. I have been wondering about this. I am glad you posted. My father-in-law hunts short range with a .500 s&w with 12+ inch barrel in Michigan and he wants to come down this Xmas and hunt here. You just saved me a bunch Of time. Thanks.

  19. Started with bloody Mary (had to finish off vodka wife bought to make jello shots for 4 generation chipendales trip and now on to miller lite. Just me and the dogs watching football. What a peaceful evening.
  20. I didn't watch the video either due to BP and control issues...both were convicted of criminal charges....misdemeanor assault ...one served one month of a 12 month sentence an the other two. Talk about justice. DA would not comment on why felony child abuse charges were dropped.
  21. My father-in-law has a stainless 1911 Kimber and he swears by it. Nice!!!
  22. Metalica- seek and destroy One For whom the bell tolls Awww just anything from Kill 'em all album
  23. After reading(wAtching) that post, it looks more like Cain got caught in a not prepared state. His publicist probably told him to answer gun questions with I support the 2nd amendment and he got pushed. Basically he wasn't prepared and didn't know where to go. I am as right as you can get, and like what Cain says but is he just talking to get elected.
  24. Milan lost their animal control officer but Gibson Co can be reached thur the sheriff dept dispatch.
  25. The best thing is animal control. Every county in Tn is suppose to have a rabies/animal control officer. Get the sheriff dept dispatch phone number not 911 and report any encounter you feel threatened by.
