I just ordered my first 1911, after much reading of posts and forums. I decided to go with a Metro Arms 1911 Commander from Buds. I have always wanted a 1911 and will have one in a few days. Pics to come when I get it here.

The Springfield xd line is made by CZ and when I got my XD40 one of the gun dealers near me said that CZ is probably the most underrated gun on the market. That is best for the price. JTM🔫 Sent from my iPhone

The weatherby vanguard is a import they bring in to complete with lower priced models. My cousin has one seems to be a very reliable weapon. It is composite stock and forearm though. JTM🔫 Sent from my iPhone

GreAt advice. The average rifle will shoot consistent up to 200 yards with some fine tuning, where good optics don't need adjusting very often in day to day handling. JTM🔫 Sent from my iPhone
