  1. Tried to veiw the employee safe commute forum under laws and legislators and was routed to J for justice and V for vendetta web site. Was not logged in at work when happened so I don't know if it will matter,
  2. Most famous was Carl Perkins back in the late '80s early 90s. He was the nicest guy that ever lived. I help my dad and a couple of other guys from NCR set up a computer system for the CP Telethon in jackson when in college and every time i ran into Carl he remembered my name Met several athletes in college. But no one really special. Biggest was Al Wilson. Another nice guy. He played HS ball with a friend of mine and we all had dinner one night. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  3. Thanks David. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  4. That is what I was thinking. The gun buster makes it illegal to carry. That is what I thought. Just wanted to verify. I will let Bob Cox know next time I see him. JTM🔫 Sent from my iPhone
  5. My wife saw this sign at Little General in Milan the other day and took a pic to ask me and forewarn me. Being a fat guy I OWB carry all the time(work excluded) with an untucked shirt, I am wondering if someone can see the bottom of my holster under shirt is it considered OC. Never have understood why if the state doesn't differentiate how can a business. JTM🔫 Sent from my iPhone
  6. I carry OWB at all times (other than work,) and really don't care if shirt covers up or not. My wife did see a sign at the local Little General the other day that said no open carry. I will post pic later becuse not sure of legality of the sign.
  7. Actually this isn't the proper place, but maybe some westerns can get involved in this. Fox 13 out of Memphis report that the Governor was trying to stop a bill that would allow HCP holders to carry on any parking lot whether posted or not. Everyone here needs to email fox 13 and let them know how wrong they are about the parking lot bill
  8. I think you did great. As an volunteer animal cruelty investigator for the SPCA, I have confronted 100s of strange dogs and they all react differently. Key is you between dog and kids and defend yourself appropriately. I know of a case where the lead investigator on an animal cruelty case had to shoot a pit bill that had a hold on his arm. Awareness is the key. You did great and no one got hurt.
  9. I would contact her editor and ask if all they published was opinion and then give him the facts. And let him known if his publication wouldn't print facts then you wouldn't read and start several blogs to inform the public about their(the Tennessean's) misinformation.
  10. This was actually in a magazine article that someone linked to the IMDbase news section. But you know it's true if you read it on the Internet.
  11. New season will be 16 episodes with Merle returning. Scheduled to start sometime in October for AMC's FEARFEST. Found an article on IMDbase.
  12. Just be careful when cooking it down. It can give off clorine gas if not mixed properly. Getting the hcl acid will be the toughest. You can get baking soda anywhere. I might even stock up on baking soda cause it is very handy to have around.
  13. Flare gun!!! That outta really mess them up. A buddy of mine crafted a 9mm insert for a flare gun.
  14. I bought a crate. 2 cans, opened one then had to buy another can to replace in the crate!!!! Now I have a full case for the Zombie apocalypse and 440 rounds to" familiarize with"
  15. I am looking just the opposite. A good friend of mine had a couple of 8mm machine guns and got out of the automatic weapons business and has a few thousand rounds left over and he has been begging me to get something in 8mm for plinking.
  16. Anyone ever heard of Jack Ross ammunition
  17. 50 yards 8x10 crosstie plate hung as a plinker with xd40. Never tried my 1911 and am much more accurate with it than I am xd. 458 yards hit a fire extinguisher( according to gps) with weatherby vanguard 30-06.
  18. The kid said he knew Maggie in school then she would know something about him. I went to HS in small town Tn. Less than 20000 in county with one high school. And everyone knew what everyone else was about. They may not have hung out with them but they knew what type person they where. I am not buying the let's give him a chance. Total stranger yes, watch closely and beware of all actions. There is more to this that they are not telling us for the dramatic effect. I believe in fair play until my and my familys life is at stake then I am taking nothing for granted.
  19. Well here it is!!!
