  2. I generally don't get mad about stories like that because I recognize stupid when I see it. That just burned me up the way he started with the American people don't want gun control then called everyone who owns a gun stupid. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  3. Yeah. I read it and about got sick. Basically we are all stupid because my kids are grown and I keep guns in my house. What a joke. That is why I don't follow MSM. It is horrible. JTM Sent from my iPhone

  5. The upgrade to lithium ion is amazing. The only thing you will have to get used to is no warning on low battery. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  6. I edc an xd40 service and love it great shooter. The high axis does give the .40 some snap but is very manageable once you get used to. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  7. I have never been in a beer bar that didn't serve chips, peanuts, ect. Not sure if it is a requirement though. 20 years ago you had to serve refreshments to get a beer license, not sure about now. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  8. I will bet you can call 1800glock and they an tell you. JTM Sent from my iPhone

  10. Recently purchase my parents home and was cleaning out some closets and found a Winchester 190 that Mom got 30 years ago. I vaguely remember shooting as a child, and got put up and nEver touched for years. Was in the process of moving so grabbed a box of 22lr and went to the back deck to see if it would even shoot. It ran 15 rounds flawlessly. Only rust was minor surface rust around the engraving. Are there and flaws in this model that I need to look for. Plan on making It a everyday plinking gun just to sit around and shoot in the back yard. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  11. This is why I will never go there. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  12. I quote" the NRA and Republi-Klans are responsible for this." I guess all gun owners are racists now. Wow JTM Sent from my iPhone
  13. Is that a custom made "7 shot six shooter". Just ask Arnold. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  14. The bird shot mixed with wax has a very devastating effect. A car fender at about thirty feet will leave a 4-6 inch hole. Think in terms of shooting a claymore mine. The wax holds the birdshot together until it hits something solid then the energy stays with the birdshot. A friend on mine and I are experimenting with a jacketed hollow point 12ga slug. We have made two but are working on a safe way to shoot before testing. We have a couple of cases of the wax slugs now moving on to other projects. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  15. Success breeds success. This government hasn't been successful in a very long time(my opinion). If we want to see our country return to a successful great nation that it has the potental to be, change has to be made. Groups of likeminded people have to get together and elect people in smaller communities(less than 1 million people) and make those governments successful. Reduce crime with infringing on the rights of others. We all agree that legal gun ownership reduces crime. A start would be stop a legal system from retaliating against law abiding citizens for their actions when clearly legal(innocent until proven guilty not vise versa.) With reduced crime you will see increases in all aspects of an ecomony. Use these successes, as an example to how the Constitution works when allowed to. This plan will take a great deal of people smarter than I am put I promise it is possible. My granddad grew up in a dirt floor house outside of Jackson, TN during the great deppression. At 16 years old he moved to Jackson and lived in a boarding house and worked for the railroad. He finished high school at night and retired from the RR in 1973. He then went into business for himself to keep his family living the lifestyle that they where used to living. I don't remember what year but our government merged the RR pension with social security. Granddaddy paid both SSI and RR pension his entire career and then was told he could only draw benefits from one or the other. This was the beginning of the mess we are in now. That happened at least 30 years ago. The point is if you want to survive you must work. It has taken decades to get where we are so one or two Presidents aren't going to change anything. It will take decades of voting likeminded people into office at all levels of governments. The IRS is here to stay give up on that. If you have a problem with taxes vote in enough likeminded people into office to come up with a flat tax that is fair to everyone and take the teeth out of the IRS. I would gladdly give up 1% of my salary to taxes if it was spent wisely. Fixing this problem will take decades so don't insult my inteligence by saying you are going to "do away with the IRS."
  16. I had an interesting conversation with an elderly couple(late 60s to early 70s) at work last night. They were upper middle class looking to order a high end microwave(I sell appliances). While on hold with Electrolux to get a price for microwave, the lady asked what I thought about the SCOTUS ruling about Obamacare and the conversation turned to the upcoming Small Arms Treaty. We talked about my passion for guns as well as theirs. The last thing this lady told me was that if this treaty is signed and ratified she would be in the field with a rifle in hand. Don't count out the people of the USA. The largest standing militia in the world is the registered hunters in 4 states in the US. I pray that the US Senate is smart enough to see the hornets nest it is stirring up. I will say Armies are great but Guerrilla warfare is brutal. One man fighting for a cause is worth 10 hired guns. Will the US Army actually turn on their families to uphold a treaty that is clearly unconstitutional.
  17. That is great. I sent a similar email to Ron Ramsey about the Safe Commute bill "don't insult my Inteligence" and he blocked my email address.
  18. This is not even in my part of the state and I gave to her Campain fund because I think she can do some good. This is a great message.
  19. I have put a loaded gun in my back before just in yard checking on cars when daughters car alarm went off. Got in house and decided how stupid it was. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  20. I am on several lists I am sure and I don't have military background(diabetic). Some of the lists are just from talking to you guys. LOL. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  21. That was a good story. We all know CNBC was just trying to prove that all guns are bad. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  22. From 2003 to 2006 I lived in Austin and used to hunt about 40 miles north of Del Rio and we got stopped all the time going way over the 70 mile speed limit and most of the time they never even asked for license just shined a light around for illegals and let us go. The stretch of road it usually happened on was a long straight rd to no where. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  23. Could you pack in a suitecase as checked baggage. JTM Sent from my iPhone
