Many years ago I worked for a summer camp for diabetic kids and the camp director was Robert Allen of Allen Reptile company out of Memphis. The most important thing he taught me was non poisonous snakes are territorial and poisonous snakes are not. Every body of water can support a certain number of snakes and if you have plenty of non poisonous snakes around the poisonous ones will move on. JTM Sent from my iPhone

There are so many. Hotter than a wolf bitch in heat. My personal favorite is "He's about half a bubble off of plumb." JTM Sent from my iPhone

Enlighten Me: Why all the love for suppressors?

I never thought much about it til then but my wife is the safety police when it comes to eyes and ears and it was really nice to be able to shoot and talk without yelling. JTM Sent from my iPhone -

Well my bulldog is not wild by any means but I don't want my mini daschund to get killed protecting his bitch. It is really fun to watch. My wife is a fairly good shot at less than 100 yards so I told her to keep an eye out and put down anything that doesn't belong. NeighborS dogs not included. Unfortunately due to health problems I can't get Ellie fixed that would solve alot of problems. JTM Sent from my iPhone

That is a nice yote. I am not big into coyote hunting. I have 2 small dogs and a pit bull an the bulldog is about to go into heat. I just moved back to the country after years of living in town and was wondering if coyotes are attracted to domesticated dogs in heat. I got the old model 92 30-30 out for my wife when I am not home but have been hearing a few yelping in the area. Should I expect visitors. All of my dog are in a chain link fenced backyard but that had never stopped a dog in heat. Just wondering. JTM Sent from my iPhone

I have been in retail for years and do understand your frustration. The thing I have found that gets rid of the ones you know are just there for the company is to make them listen to you. Just turn the conversation to something that you are well versed in and make them listen to you for about 1.5-2 minutes and they will be running out the door. Most people just want someone to listen to them. JTM Sent from my iPhone

I have never thought much about suppressors but the other night an old friend of mine came over with an integrally suppressed 22lr and we sat in the back yard plinking and my dogs didn't even get up and go in the house. Two of these dogs even see a guns they are running for cover. We weren't even shooting subsonic ammo. It was a blast and didn't even bother the neighbors(1/4 mile down rd.) JTM Sent from my iPhone -

This is ridiculous. The first toy gun I remember having didn't even have an orange tip. They passed a law that all toy guns have to have a orange plastic tip and the BGs started painting the muzzle of their guns orange. This solves nothing. If they outlaw colored guns all the BGs will be running around with pink guns. Plus my wife will be pissed. JTM Sent from my iPhone

I mentioned this in another tread and finally got a pic. Here it is a 675 grain jacketed hollow point for a 12 gauge shotgun. I think we have found a load for it. Who wants to shoot first. Hey watch this!!!! Sorry about cell phone pic. JTM Sent from my iPhone

Being diabetic I have never had the chance to serve, but being the son of a Marine and adopted son of a Dog(both in Vietnam), I have learned one thing, neither one of them talked about there military exploits much at all. Dad(adopted) only twice in 40 yrs, he my brother in law, and myself went and had a couple of beers and saw Blackhawk down and dad talked briefly afterwards about a couple of battles in Vietnam and 10 years later we were watching Band of Brothers with surround sound and he compared the episodes Bastone and breaking point to be in a fire base in Vietnam. You were sitting in a foxhole and there were random rounds popping of at any given time. Natural father never spoke of his military experience but later was told by a cousin that he had all of his medals that came home with him if I wanted them(I was just a baby and Tommy gave them to my cousin to play with.) Let's look at it as a BG don't go here list. I am sure I am on it and really don't care It would be fun to start an "I am unarmed site," but there are a lot of gun owners that don't have HCPs. So if someone tried to rob one and got shot we would probably get sued for providing false information. Lol. That is just how our legal system works. JTM Sent from my iPhone

I sell retail appliances for a major company with a strict pricing policy and I get ridiculous offers all the time. I usually explain our pricing policy and let them know I would rather give them $100 out of my pocket then lose my job negotiating. Most retail sales people in today's big box market have a strict set of rules to live by to keep there job. Do your homework and everyone will work with you on price if you have a legit better price. It does get old sometimes but I have had to let people walk over $15 because they thought I owed it to them. JTM Sent from my iPhone

Get a miniature dachshund, Boston terrier, and a put bull. The dachshund makes noise to let you know when someone comes around, the Boston lets you know if you know them and the pit bull kills them if you don't. Please don't try to sneak thru my doggie door. JTM Sent from my iPhone

Cool thanks guys. Don't have Internet at my new house yet and it is really hard to do research on an iPhone even with 3G. It is kinda strange, when I lived in Milan I didn't have 3G but dsl. Now I live BFE and have 3G but no dsl available. JTM Sent from my iPhone

I just purchased my parents home and need to change the address on my HCP Is this just like changing you DL? Go to DL testing center and have them print you another or do you have to turn in and wait for Nashville to send you a new one. JTM Sent from my iPhone

I just moved back out to the country after 15 yrs and the other day my wife called and asked if I had any more .380 ammo stashed around the house and if not I needed to stop and pick up some. She only had 3 magazines left. She had been in the back yard shooting before I got home. Kinda jealous but I just stopped and picked up a couple o hundred rounds on the way home no complaints. The big thing is that gay marriage is not about anything but money. I like Chick-fil-a. The whole gay marriage debate is about having to pay benefits to people. Big business doesn't want it because of insurance benefits. I seriously doubt that Chick-fil-a cares who is gay or straight or married or not as long as they eat chicken. What someone does behind closed doors is their business. I think the people of Boston who like chicken should crucify the mayor at the next election. JTM Sent from my iPhone
