  1. Xdm40 with trigger upgrade. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. When I was about 7yrs old my grandfather sold his tractor and bought a horse to plow his garden with. He said there were two reasons for this. He enjoyed working the horse and he could get more per acre with a horse. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. I can think of a better substance than sand. It might be more realistic but stinky. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. The last thing I thought before I did it was "if this slips" I actually have two sets of Gerber pliers and every size pry bar known to man I just didn't want to scar the wood with a pry bar. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  5. My question is how old do you have to get before you stop doing stupid $#it like using a pocket knife for screwdriver. 7 stitches later. JTM Sent from my iPhone

  10. I have posted this many times on this forum so I will make it short. Start at the local level and make the community successful. Success breeds popularity. Move to the state level and make that state successful then move to Congress and start running the government efficiently and then go after the white house. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. They need to actually prosecute the people with the guns and drugs instead of letting them plea out to protect their conviction rate. Don't punish the law abiding citizens for weak prosecutors. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I lived in Milan for five years and have heard very good things about his training. Never met him personally but the people that have recommended his school were stand up people. Not wannabes just good folks who believe in being able to defend yourself. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Buy a couple. I have never owned a confederate flag in my life(outside a general lee hot wheels as a kid) but I might just have to buy one to send to WB offices with a nice note. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I wish I had all the 45s(records)I shot as a kid. This is mainly for recurve bow but could work for pistol as well. Take an old tire put card board in center draw dot in center of cardboard, roll tire, have fun. With pistol, good luck finding someone to roll tire. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. What about a Catholic church that has a school attached? Just a question of legality. I am thinking of St. Mary's in Jackson. I don't go there but my wife was raised Catholic and considering starting to go there some. I guess the real question is do private schools fall under the no guns at schools. I apologize if has already been discussed. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. IMHO recurves are more accurate than a compound in the forgiving factor. A compound bow is about form and doing everything right( the bow perfectly vertical and good release. A recurve is more about aiming and release. With practice you can shoot a recurve from any position which comes in handy in bush conditions. Once you get familiar with new bow, put a piece of cardboard in an old tire, mark the center, roll tire and have fun. This will teach to draw aim release in an almost fluid motion to improve accuracy. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I get the kids thing from my grandmother all the time. Being type I diabetic, I decided not to have children a long time ago(it's hereditary). I am over 40 with 2 step kids that have made my life trying enough(joking) so I don't feel the need to put my medical burdens on my children and or grandchildren. I usually reply to the kids thing with," I try every chance I get!!!" that usually shuts them up pretty quick. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks for the comments. Is there anything I should look for to as proof it is a forged lower. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. I have always wanted an AR and have never had all the money to buy one at one time. My plan is to purchase a bare lower one month, trigger kit next month, ect and build when I get all the parts I want. Now I just want some reasonably price lower opinions. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  20. I am glad I saw this thread. I just purchased my parents home and not have a 24x36 shop and plan on setting up a reloading station this gives me some great ideas. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Economy. And spending, if you research some of the stupid things the government gives research grants on you would be shocked speechless. JTM Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. I flipped those prices. 549 for bitone
  23. Yes it is a hassle to visit my daughters at college for this reason. Even with gun locked in safe behind seat parking on campus is a no-no. It is just a hassle to disarm and make sure no holster is showing...ect. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  24. Tennessee should look into Michigan gun laws. Open carry is allowed without permit and a ccp allows you to go past signs concealed. They have some crazy restrictions on purchasing and concealment(as in you get in a vehicle you are concealed and must unload w/o ccp.) The big thing is that while concealed you can go anywhere except government buildings basically. Ccp takes the power out of the sign. Trespassing does apply of course. JTM Sent from my iPhone
  25. Direct hit in south jackson had two today. A two tone and a blue at $519 and 549. Don't quote the price don't remember exactly. But they felt good in my hand. I am an xd guy tho. JTM Sent from my iPhone
